Ready for action

Angel's pov:

I took some steps back. "I need some time alone." I said to the others, who were looking at me concerned. I turned around and started walking away, but was stopped when a hand gently grabbed my arm.

Seth was holding me and wanted to say something, but I snatched my arm out of his grip and walked to the woman's bathroom.

Once inside I wanted to be sure I was alone, so I opened all the toilet doors.

Nobody was here.

Relieved that nobody was here, I locked the door.

"It can't be him! We saw him die that day!" Ace yelled in my head.

"And if he would be alive, he wouldn't do this!

Our mate can't be working with a vampire!"

"Maybe we did heal him, but it didn't work immediately. Maybe it needs time?" I asked her.

She whispered: "Maybe..."

I sighed and walked to the washbasin and twisted the tap. I used both my hand to bring water on my face to cool me down.

I heard a knock on the door and heard a familiar voice say: "Angel, is everything alright?"

I dried my face and hands and walked to the door. I unlocked and opened it and came face-to-face with James.

"Let's catch these son of a bitches!"

He smiled and followed me back to Kynareth. I stopped next to her. "Give me his address and his phone number. Search for bank accounts, work, pack name,... everything usefull." I said to Kynareth. She nodded and dug back to her screens.

After 3 minutes she looked up. "Got it. He lives in New York." She wrote something on a paper and handed it to me.

"This is his house, his phone number and his work." she said while aiming at the paper.

"This is interesting: he is a rogue, he has no pack, but his father was the beta of the Blue Mountain pack, so he has beta blood in his veins. Sorry, but that's all I can tell for now."

I thanked her, turned to look at Seth and asked: "You have an office or something like that?" He nodded and started walking to a glass door. We all followed him except for Kynareth she stayed at her desk.

Seth opened the door and walked in. James, Jack and Aiden were the first ones to go inside and then Amber and Eva followed them quickly.

I stepped inside the office. It had chocolat brown walls and a black wooden floor. A black desk was situated in the middle of the room and 2 red couches; one on the right and one on the left. A flatscreen was hanging on the wall next to the door.

I walked in a little bit further and closed the room. When I turned around I saw that everyone was settled down on the couches. I had to smile at this. It was funny how 3 full grown fight for the television remote. I walkes over to the desk and put my bags on it.

I looked around and found some pictures. I recognised all of them in the pictures. There were some taken at the beach, some on a training court, at their home and a lot more.

I walked back to my bags and started to unzip them. "We're going to find Stephan and arrest him so come all here for a sec." I said.

When everyone was standing around the desk I placed the last weapons on the desk. I had taken all kinds of weapons from the safe house.

'I think it would be best if we can find some information of where he is and then we can search his house... He won't be at his house.' Ace said. She was the mastermind so I listened to her.

Everyone was looking at me intensly so I started to explain the plan Ace and I figured out.

Everyone was looking at me wide eyed when I was done explaining. Then their expression changed. They were looking at me, but their eyes looked at me with sympathy? It was like they wanted to say something.

"What is it?!" I asked harsly. Not enjoying the many eyes looking at her. They remained quiet and Seth, Amber and James turned their eyes to the door behind me.

"Okay... What is it?" I asked again, but now more commanding.

Aiden turned his head away from my direction and started to stutter. "Er... A-are you s-sure you want t-to do t-this? B-because he is s-still your m-"

"Don't you dare to finish that sentence! He isn't my mate anymore, my mate died a long time ago!" I jelled at him.

He whimpered in fear and the others backed away from the desk. Now I knew I was using my alpha tone. I knew I was a little bit mean and stuff, but I just couldn't control it.

"He is a kidnapper and a criminal! I'll do anything to stop him and the whole case, even if I have to kill him!"

My blood was boiling.

Could I really kill him if I needed to?

Ace was craving to come out, but I could take control. The others were now looking at me with a shocked face and fear in their eyes.

I turned around while walking to the door and stopped for saying: "Choose some weapons you want to use."

I never meant to scare them, it just happened.

When I closed the door, I immediately walked to Kynareth. I needed some information.

We really need to find him, he's our only chance to find and stop The Dealer.

'We'll find our 'mate' and stop this once and for all."
