The next morning everything just seemed to slowly fall apart. Natalie left us, the bank out then home up for action. It was a mess. Everyone was out, either at work or just out. Moose, Luke and I were sitting in the living room and he handed us his phone.

"Look what I got from Natalie" He says. We look at the text that says.

WE NEED TO TALK.
COME TO MY PARTY TONIGHT.

There was an address at the bottom and we furrowed our eyebrows.

"Wait, what does it mean?" Moose asks.

"I don't know, but Imma find out" He says taking the phone back and standing up. "Come with me"

"Us?" I ask glancing at Moose with a shocked expression.

"I need you two"

"We have a Halloween party, I mean I would, but I can't miss it" Moose says. Oh yeah I totally forgot about that. Moose told me he wanted to introduce me to his bestfriend Camille.

"College parties start late. I'll get you back in time I promise" Luke says. Moose look at him hesitantly.

"I'm supposed to be Ashley Olsen man" Moose says. Luke and I smirk.

"Ashley Olsen?" Luke asks with a taunting tone.

"Yeah. Do you know how long it takes to straighten this hair?" Moose smiles.

"Come on you're my guys" Luke says. Awww he finally admits we're just favourites. "It's been a long day. I need some good friends right now" Luke holds out his hands for us to take. We sigh knowing we have to give in.

"Alright We got your back man" Moose says as we get up.

We all like into Luke's awesome car and drive our way to the location Natalie sent. When we arrived it was really busy. Lots of fancy cars and fancy dressed people. I look down at my baggy pants and shirt and then to the gorgeous cocktail dresses and groan. We look like total rejects. We walk in through the front doors and make our way to a man holding a clipboard.

"Invitations please" He asks stalling us from going further.

"Invitations?" Luke asks. The man nods. " I got one on my cell phone"

"Ain't No invitation, ain't no entry. You know can you guys push off please-" the man says.

"Look my name is right there, Jeff Brainstene" Moose points to another list of names. The man ignores him and proceeds to tell us to go away. We finally back up in defeat.

"There's gotta be another way" Luke says to us. I bite the inside of my cheek and look around. I then spit a rack with clothes on It and get an idea. We all look at each we with mischievous smirks.

"Let's go" we quietly laugh. We snatch a few outfits from the rack and go change in the bathroom. I put on this beautiful Red dress and let my hair down. I looked in the mirror and smiled. The dress was beautiful. I walk out and search for Moose and Luke. I turn my head to the right and see them already looking at me. Luke smiled, while Mooses mouth was agape as he took in my look. His gaze made me feel hot. I blush and walk towards them, doing a little spin.

"What do you think?" I ask.

"You look great" Luke says. Moose continues to stare, Luke elbows him. I hold in a laugh.

"Y-yeah, you look.....beautiful" He says composing himself. I smile. He was nervous, I could tell. It was adorable. "Shall we gentlemen?" I ask as I link arms with them and we walk towards the ballroom as music began to play.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming, And now, the broken tango. Take it away" The spokesperson says.

"Come on" Luke says walking towards the dance floor where all the girls and guys were lined up.

"Luke? Luke?!" Moose and I whisper yells. Does he just expect us to join? Yep. Moose and I hurriedly follow him and line up in front of each other. A small smirk makes its way onto my face as the beat to the song drops and we begin the dance.

The dance finished with a dip and I flew my heart flutter. Moose and I stayed like that for a few seconds as we looked at each other. It was like time stopped and I forgot where I was. I watched as his eyes fluttered down to my lips and I gulped. He slowly brought us back up, not breaking eye contact. The room spun around us as I felt us leaning in slowly. I felt heat rushing to my cheeks. His lips twitched upwards into the smallest smile and he licked them. We were getting closer to the fact I could feel his breath against mine.

"Natalie's gone" Luke's voice startles is. I yelp and jump away from Moose and rub the back of my neck. How long were we like that for? Everyone was already off the dance floor. That's so embarrassing!

"What?" Moose asks peeling his eyes away from me, to Luke.

"She's...she's Julian's sister" Luke says, not knowing wether he should be mad or sad. After he said that he left. Moose and I frowned. Moose pulled out his phone and his eyes widened.

"The Halloween party! Oh my god, Camille is gonna hate me forever!" He says grabbing my hands and leading me away.

"I'm sure she'll understand" I say. He turns around.

"I've already been spending so much time away from her, I've been so distant and dishonest, and I promised I'd be at this party with her. And after I made her switch costumes with Christie she's gonna hate me" He rambles. I bite my lip and we begin speed walking again. He really cared for Camille.

When Moose and I arrived at the party it was silent and dead. No one was there anymore and I saw the look of dread and guilt on Moose's face. I tug on his hoodie and point to where I see a girl sitting in a chair sleeping, dressed as Mary-Kate Olsen. Moose slowly walked forward and I stayed back. He crouches down and she wakes up. Anger fills her features. I couldn't hear what they were saying but she looked upset and Moose felt bad. She begins to walk away from him.

"I've been dancing" He says loud enough to hear. She turns around. "Before school, during school and after" He says glancing behind her and me. She turns to me and I give a small smile. She frowns and turns back to him.

"So you've been lying to me, and ditching me for some secret life?" She scoffs a laugh. "I mean you could have at least told me. But I guess I'm not important enough for your new cool life to know"

"I should have just told you, I know, but I'm sorry okay? And it's all over now" Moose says, sadness evident in his voice.

"You're right. It's over now" She says and walks away in my direction. She stops and looks at me. "It's nice meeting you finally" She mumbles sadly before walking out of the dorm. I look back over at Moose who is looking at the ground in sorrow. I slowly walk over to him.

"Moose?" I ask. He straightens up.

"I'm....I'm gonna get some sleep. Goodnight" he says walking away. My face falls. This isn't the Moose I like seeing. He's always so happy and smiley, now he looks pitiful and gloomy. I let out a breath before walking back to my dorm. Everything is going to shit.
