Outer sat on a giant rock that had gone nearly still as it drifted slowly in the open space as he stared at the familiar stars.

While he was enjoying watching the stars like he would 70% of his time, Ink teleported behind him. This surprised him, and he started to drift from the space rock. "Hey Outer! Just the Sans I was looking for. . . I  think."

Ink pulled Outer back onto the rock, and sat down. "Why is that?" The artist looked at the end of his scarf, trying to find the note he left himself. "Well. We were hoping you would join the Star Sanses. If you're up to the task that is."

He was a little stunned by this offer. "Y-your being serious, right?" Ink nodded, smiling over at the other, who had sat down as well, clearly processing this.

"We know you're not the best at fighting, but we can train you." Outer cared a lot about the AUs, and with that final bit, he was convinced. "Ok"

And that's all Ink needed to hear for Outer to become a member of the Star Sanses. And Outer would be in the group for a while, working along their side and having been taught how to fight.  He would often jump at the opportunity to help.

Over time the artist started to pay much more attention to the space man, finding himself flustering a little at every smile, and each time that they made eye contact. Was Ink supposed to be able to feel these feelings? Nope. Did this crush exist anyways? Yup.

They had just gotten back from protecting an AU from getting destroyed, and now they were celebrating with pizza. Outer took a few bites, and Ink noticed a little bit of pizza sauce on the others face. Blueberry and Dream were chatting and distracted.

Ink took the opportunity to lean towards Outer, using his thumb to wipe it off his face, pausing when he saw his eyes look up at the artist, and when he heard silence from the other two skeletons.

He tried to save face. "Y-you had sauce on your face." and wipes it onto a napkin, trying to not blush more than he already was. Everyone... and I mean everyone, noticed. Outer blushed too, frozen by the awkward interaction.

"Oh... Oops. T-thanks." Outer finally replied, blushing and looking away. The awkward moment made Ink stand up and leave for now. Soon a single buzz was felt from Outers pocket.

"Sorry bout that, can you come to my room? I'd like to have a conversation. Oh and I'm just painting at the moment, don't worry."

Outer got up and teleported to Ink's room, and he was indeed painting. The image in works being of the night sky, the colors standing out being romantic shades of pink, purple, and red, the white and yellow stars shining somehow, even though it was a painting, on paper, no affects.

"Woah. That's pretty." Outer exclaimed, moving to sit beside the other. Ink smiled, lightly blushing. "It really is. You wanna know why?" He looked to Outer.

Outer looked back to him, taking his blush as a sign to grow flustered as well. "W-why is that?"

"Because it's based on how I see you. You are so beautiful, do you know that?" Outer started to hide his face, his darker purple blush spreading. Ink was the last person he'd expected to crush on him... Or to be so sweet and calm. He had been crushing right back on him.

"I love you, I really do Outer. You know what? I want to add more to this painting, to see more of who you are." He crossed his legs as he turned towards Outer, and much to Ink's surprise, he leaned in. Ink wrapped his arms around the other, and smiled quite a bit.

-Hey, sorry for cutting this short, but I might remake this and continue this one on AO3, so if your interested in that, cool! Anyways, this might be the end of this book, so you don't need to ask for more. I love you all, happy reading peeps!-
