This doesn't mean every drawing will have a backstory, but at the very least let it serve as an inspiration for some people. Looking at the picture below, what's your own take on Rugby? What's your own backstory for him?

Rugby is a toy, one of many made by a humble toy maker in a small town -- unaware his creations were gifted with life. Rugby, like many toys, was made to bring joy to all wonderful boys and girls alike, but not every child is so wonderful to treat a toy with care. One day, Rugby was snatched away by a mischievous young boy and his friends -- his design made twisted and body torn at the seams before put back together in a form he could not recognize. Returned back to the shop by the boys who soon fled, the toys gathered around Rugby and called him names. Judged him, teased him, and in the end, detested him. Was Rugby not a toy like the rest of them? Made to spread joy and laughter? Was he not, deep down, still a toy made with love, care, and created delicately by the same toy maker like the many fine crafted toys around him? But the toys cared not for the warmth or care he was treated by their same maker, neither did they care for the goodness and innocence in his heart. No child would ever want to play with Rugby, who looked so ugly and filled with gravel. And so he wept. He wept for he had no more friends who cared. He wept for being made ugly. He wept for no child would ever play with Rugby, only to gather dust and cobwebs in the attic where he now resides. Forever torn, forever weeping, and forever lost.
