﹉﹉﹉EARLIER, ANASTASIA HAD THOUGHT THAT KNOWING THIS GROUPS NAMES WAS POINTLESS AND JUST A POWER POINT, but now they were coming in handy. With every, "Glenn watch out!" and "Rick, there!", it was helpful. The group set out at dawn that night that Alonso had died.
The group surprisingly allowed Anastasia to gather some of her belongings, and she was able to convince them to allow Louise to come along, since only one more mouth—and that mouth being considerably smaller—to feed was hardly compared to two more, one being an adult.
They let Anastasia bring a weapon, but only under the condition that they had handled it on the way to their community until they had trusted her.
Anastasia still didn't want to go with this group, but she had almost no people left. She couldn't imagine how the people who were still alive there felt. Their queen just got up and left. She thinks about how scared they must be. All that were left were women and children.
Anastasia and the group had been walking for hours now and their so-called community was still hours away. The train tracks they followed seemed endless, and they were still rendering in the distance as they walked.
"How long did you all travel to get here anyway," Prodded Louise, who got the go to walk in front, next to the old woman, "We've been walking since dawn and the sun is setting,"
She was right. The sun danced at the edge of the silver lining of the sky, where the pale grey met with the dead shades of green and brown. It was getting late and the air chilled her skin, creating an array of goosebumps under her dress.
Rick stopped, almost causing a pileup as he walked in the very front.
"The girl is right," He admitted, "We should find a building here somewhere and rest in it for the night,"
"I hate to burst your bubble, Rick," Anastasia objected, "But there aren't buildings 'round here for miles. It would be too dark before we even reached the powerplant,"
"How do you even know?" Daryl asked, stepping forward towards her, pointing a finger in her face. He still didn't trust her. Him and Glenn both seemingly wanted to artuate her right there.
"This was on a map for our resourcers," Anastasia argued, shaking her head and crossing her arms, "It was map V,"
"Well, the buildings will be worth it." Rick nodded. "There might be supplies."
Anastasia shook her head. "You just don't get it, do you? There's no supplies there, we've been here before, ran this whole place dry,"
Rick shook his head, wiping his face. He had no plan.
"I just say we sleep in the woods tonight, it should be safe anyways," Glenn suggested, "One of us can keep watch if needed, but the most of us are pretty light sleepers for the most part,"
Anastasia could easily tell that Glenn, Daryl and Rick were the ones in charge here. They were always the ones making orders and suggestions and Glenn and Daryl were always the ones pointing their weapons in between her eyes.
The old woman looked at Anastasia, waiting for her to say something. Glenn looked like he wasn't happy that she was suggesting advice from their enemy.
"Carol," Glenn bickered, "Her input right now is the least of our worries, we don't even know if she's telling the truth,"
Anastasia knew another name. Carol seemed to be the only one—along with Rick and Carl—that actually trusted her judgment.
