Back to the present, two months after graduation...

You take one last look at the lock screen on your phone as you let out a sigh, the group picture from Homecoming.

Knock... Knock...

You turn around to see your parents at the door.

Mom: All packed up?

Dad: You got everything you need?

You: Yes, Mom and Dad. I just needed to pack this last item.

You reach over a picture frame of your school's girls soccer team to put in the box.

You: (It would be nice to start ninth grade all over again.)

You close the flaps and look around your now-empty room as memories start to play in your head.

You: I'm ready to go.

Your parents start to walk with you to your car.

...

You put the last box in the trunk before closing the tailgate. Suddenly, you hear a sniffle, causing you to turn around to see your parents crying.

You: Eomma, Appa. Are you two crying?

Mom: A-Aniya.

Dad: Our eyes are just... sweating. Can we hug you one last time?

You hug your parents tightly one last time until a car horn causes you and your parents to startle.

Beep... Beep...

You turn around to see your friends in their respective cars.

You: Mwoya!

Ryujin: Hi, Y/N! Mrs. and Mr. Kang.

Dad: Annyeonghaseyo.

Han: Yo, Y/N! We're going to the beach to chillax before we all head to our respective colleges.

You: I'll be there.

You turn back to your parents.

You: Well, this is it.

Mom: Good luck with college next week, sweetie.

Dad: Go and make us proud!

You: I will, and I promise to visit from time to time.

You make your way inside your car, starting it up.

Mom: Drive safely. Let us know when you arrive at Seoul University.

Dad: You kids have fun at the beach!

Bang Chan: Will do, Mr. Kang.

Mom: Good luck as well!

Yeji: Kamsahamnida!

You take off with your friends, following them to the beach.

Two minutes later, someone parked in front of the Kang's residence.

Knock... Knock...

Your dad opens the door, revealing.

Dad: Annyeonghaseyo, Jihyo.

Jihyo: Annyeonghaseyo, Mr. Kang. Is... Y/N home?

Dad: Aniya, you just missed her.

Jihyo: Oh.

She bows.

Jihyo: Kamsahamnida.

Jihyo walks back to her car as your dad closes the door.
