It was the darkness that surrounded me once more, like a mist, it filling my field of view, stopping me from seeing the source of the noise. It happens so often now, My mind has come to accept this and normalise these hateful events.

Some time had passed now and silence had finally filled the air, the fresh smell of peace urging me out of this solitude that was my hiding spot but fear still engulfed my heart. I began to stand and slowly walked towards the door, opening it slowly, the creak still echoing out. The light from the corridor blinded me as I stepped out but only emptiness welcomed me here as it always did.

The science class was dull as always but that didn't stop the events from 3 days ago running constantly in my mind like clockwork, the same hallway melting into every waking image like a nightmare. I would never understand why it kept happening and why it always happened to me.

A bell finally rang and I grabbed my stuff and stepped back into the corridor, the floors and walls clean of the events of my memory but the voice reminded me as did the thoughts that followed horrific and low tone. "It was you" the words replayed again and again in the back of my mind and I began to walk faster and faster, the lines taunting Me and I left the building.

I continued to walk, leaving that building behind as I reached the bus stop so I could finally go to the place I lived, my mums house. My heart began to ache as the thought of her poisoned me in every way, the pain getting greater which was finally stopped by the arrival of the bus. The man stared for a second before releasing a jolly smile, "would that be the usual Harry" he spoke slowly with a infringed smile. I looked at him for a moment before nodding, admiring his sky blue eyes and lengthy beard as I passed over the money needed to get a ticket. The silence grew for a second before I walked further onto the bus grabbing the first available seat and instantly began looking out of the window, the darkness dawning as it usually did at this time in the winter.

The street lamps were the only form of light around as the world became silent, the darkness consuming all accept one thing. It stood there and watched me as I walked, it was unexplainable but close. The air released slowly from his smiling pale faced as he stood still but I tried not to make eye contact as to startle him as he watched me. I prayed in my head as I slowly sped up but I began hearing another set of footsteps in line with mine and that is when it happened.

I slowly turned around as I walked and that is when I saw him closer than ever, a pursuing man protected by the darkness that filled the back of him. I looked him directly in the eyes as he began running at me and that is when I ran faster than before, sprinting towards my street as the man made me his prey but I was lost.

I managed to take a wrong turn and cornered myself and I went straight to the wall and prepared myself. For some time nothing happened and the wariness grew as did my thoughts but when I prepared to leave he suddenly but slowly walked round the corner, his white smile greater than ever but it was suddenly silenced as another uninvited man attended the meeting. His long black hair covering his face as he scared away the predator.

He slowly walked over to me asking if I was okay, his Hazel eyes shining as he helped me up. I looked at him with a pasty face as he landed out a hand. "They call me David" he provided a light smile as he shook my hand firmly. He lent down picking up my bag and forcing it into my arms. "Harry is it? Well you should get home there's alot of crazy people out there" he said confidently as if the previous event had never happened, he patted my shoulder and in the blink of an eye he was gone.
