The skies were as blue as the clear ocean, and the smell of the flourishing foods on the side road was all mouthwatering, I couldn't help but not feel hungry at that point.
Every building there was ginormous, but I was more surprised by how many trees there were, I was expecting the place to be filled with buildings all over, but I guess I was mistaken. The forest there all felt magical, It felt like it would call onto me whenever I passed by one, It must've been just my imagination.
Unpacking wasn't really that hard since we only had a few stuff that we brought, the house was small and there were leaks all over the place, but a little cleaning and fixing up with do the trick.
I went to a mini-store to buy us some food, I only bought curry ingredients and some pills and medicine mom made me buy for her since the money I bought wasn't enough for groceries.
So far, I've come to have settled here because the atmosphere the city had was just like from back home, the night was peaceful and I took my time to go sightseeing since there were a bunch of interesting things around here in Tokyo.
Washing the dishes, cleaning up around the house, and organizing my school supplies for tomorrow's school. I'll admit, I am a bit nervous since I know no one here and everything around is unfamiliar. But I would just keep my head high, saying I'll do fine, and that I should keep my best to have a nice first day at school.
I would naturally go to school an hour or two early so that I won't get late, but I really wanted to have a nice first day and a good first impression, so I went to school three hours early.
''Alright class, today we have a new student today.'' I suddenly woke up, I looked at the teacher completely confused, and everyone was looking at me and started to laugh. I had saliva coming out of my mouth, and a mark on my face from facing my head onto the desk when I slept. It was most definitely not a first good impression... I guess? ''Would you like to come up and introduce yourself?'' I slowly got up from my seat, the tension was so intense I felt all nervous. I was at the front, and everybody looked at me. I looked at my teacher because I don't really know if she already heard about my condition, but her reaction looked like she did. ''This is Watanabe Eiko. She came from Fukuoka and just arrived here yesterday. She can't speak, but she can still hear you all perfectly fine.'', I was happy to see how kind my new teacher was, her voice was calming and calmed me down from my anxiousness. A boy raised his was and asked, ''Is she abnormal?'' making everyone in the room laugh. ''Souta! That's a rude thing to say. And no, she is not abnormal for your information, Eiko just can't talk, that's all. '', ''Then, Isn't that abnormal?'' -everyone laughed again. ''Souta! One more word and I am calling your parents.'' Of course, he got scared and stopped asking questions again. But... They were just like my old classmates, so I guess I can say I'm used to it.
I finished school and started to head home, time felt short but long, well, that was just how school is. There were a few people who talked to me, but there were no bullies so far. I was getting kinda tired so I took a break in a shady place and ate my leftover food.
It was very peaceful, there were only a few people were passing by and the sunset was pretty. I was just eating while looking around, and then something caught my eye, so I took a look and see a child. It was a baby, about... 3 years old? 4 maybe? What is it doing here? I looked around to see where his parents were, but there weren't people around. I started to get nervous, I started to think he was a lost kid. I couldn't really say anything since he wouldn't understand me since I can't talk... And then he started to sit beside me and then got a bit more closer to me. ''Food?'' he said. Gosh, his voice was so cute. Does he want to eat? Was he hungry? The child looked like it was old enough to eat rice, so I offered some food, the child wanted to have some but his hands were too short, I chuckled and extended my hand a little longer, the child touched the food, and as if he was air or something, his hands slid through mine! Is he a ghost!? A cute ghost? I wasn't really scared or anything because he was too cute. And then he started floating, my jaw dropped. A... A ghost... I'm so scared but I just can't be scared at the same time because... He's too adorable...!!!
