Those Nineteen Years: A New Chapter

Chapter Ten: Back Home

As you saw a brief moment of Ginny and Harry's holiday to Australia, there finally back to the burrow. Now they have found jobs. Ginny is a journalist for the Daily Prophet and Harry is an Auror for the ministry.
"Hey Ginny, can I talk to you alone for a second?" Hermione said. "Sure." They went upstairs to Ron and Hermione's room. "Yea what is it?" "Well can you keep some secrets for me?" Hermione said? "Yes? What is it?" "Well I was cleaning Ron's side of the room because it was getting trashy, and I found out why it was trashy...." Hermione showed Ginny a small box. "I think your brother is going to propose." Hermione said. "Did you open it?" Ginny said. "No. I haven't" "Good. You cannot tell him that you found the box, okay?" Ginny said. "Okay thanks." "And what was the other thing?" "Well. Is seems that Ron might be proposing at the right time." Hermione said. "What do you mean?" Ginny said. "Well.....Ron and I are going to be parents!" Hermione said. "Oh my gosh! I'm so excited for you guys! Does Ron know?" Ginny said. "No. Not yet. I was going to tell him when he proposed." Hermione said. "Perfect!" Ginny and Hermione hugged. "So when are you due?" Ginny said. " Um. I'm not sure. But probably around 3 weeks so around September." Hermione said. "Omg. I'm so excited for you guys!" Ginny said. "Thank you!" "So when can I tell Harry?" Ginny said. "Ummm....definately when you guys aren't around Ron." Hermione said. "Certainly! Oh my gosh! I'm going to have a niece or nephew!" Ginny said. "I know! I'm so excited!" Hermione said. They hugged again and then walked downstairs. "What did you guys talk about?" Ron said. "Why are you concerned about it? It was just girl stuff." Ginny said. "Okay." Arthur calls out loud "Dinner's ready!" "I'm not that hungry.!" Hermione said. Ron goes towards Hermione. "Hey babe can we talk?" Ron said. "Yeah sure." Hermione says "We'll be there in a minute!" Ron and Hermione go upstairs. "I just want to know if everything was okay. You've been a little not yourself the past week. Your always not hungry, you've been
feeling sick, you've also been a little emotional this week too, your always in the bathroom. I just really want to know if you were okay?" Ron said. Yeah, I'm fine. I guess I've just lost my appetite." Hermione said while she starts to cry. "Why are you crying love?" Ron said while holding Hermione. "I don't know. I've just been stressed for some reason." Hermione said. "Okay. Let's get you cleaned up and we'll head down for dinner." Ron said. "Okay." Hermione cleans up and they both go downstairs and have supper. (Hermione didn't eat that much though) "You guys want to play a game?" Ginny said?" "Yeah. Let's play a game." Hermione said. "Hermione truth or dare?" Ron said. "Truth." Hermione said concerningly. "I want you to be honest. What did you talk about with Ginny?" Ron said. "Love can we go to talk outside?" Hermione said. "Yeah sure." Ron said. They walked outside "What is it?"
Back with Ginny and Harry. "What did you guys talk about?" Harry said. "I have been sworn not to tell anyone. Even you Harry." Ginny said. Back with Hermione and Ron. "Look I need to tell you something and I don't want you to get mad okay?" Hermione said. "Okay. What is it?" "I was cleaning up our room when I saw a tiny box. I didn't open it because I was thinking you were going to propose. Ginny told me not to tell you but I couldn't just sit here and wonder." Hermione said. "Well I guess you'll have to wait one second. Ginny, Harry, George, Dad." Ron said. They all came out and Ron was down on his knee. "Hermione Jean Granger. Will you make me the happiest man and marry me?" Ron said. "Yes! Of course!" Ron put the ring on her finger "Was there anything else you wanted to tell me?" Ron said. "Yea. There is something I wanted to tell you about. Ron I was hoping you were going to propose because we're going to be having a baby." Hermione said. Ron was ecstatic. He was so happy. He thought his world was perfect. Ron kisses Hermione. "How far along?" Ron said. "About 3 weeks I think." Hermione said. "Wait. Your pregnant?" George said. "Yes George." Hermione said. "Congrats Hermione & Ron!" Harry said. "I'm going to be a grandpa!" Arthur said excitingly. They all celebrated Hermione's news and then she said "Do we want to finish the game?" "Sure!" Ginny said. They all went up to Ginny and Harry's room. "Truth or dare?" Hermione said. "Truth." "When are you and Harry going to have children? I'm not pressuring you but I was just wondering." "Ummm.....we really haven't looked at that

subject yet." Ginny said. "Yeah. We were gonna talk about that later." Harry said. They looked at Ginny. "Yeah we're gonna talk about that later." Ginny said. "Ron truth or Dare?" Ginny said. "Truth." "How do you truly feel about you guys having a baby?" Ginny said. "Well. I'm excited and I hope we have a beautiful healthy baby." Ron said. "Aww! That's so sweet!" Hermione said. "George, Truth or dare?" Ron said. "Truth." "Does everyone want to spill their guts today?" Ron said. They all laughed. "George, are you going to go out with Angelina?" Ron said. "Eventually." They all smile. "Ok. This game is over. I'm going to bed." Ginny said. "Yeah me too." Hermione said. They all said goodnight but Ginny didn't want to really go to sleep. She wanted to talk about something With Harry. "Hey, Harry?" Ginny said. "Yeah?" "So about Hermione's question. When were we going to talk about having kids?" Ginny said. "We could talk about it right now. If you want to." Harry said. "Her question just bothered me and I wanted to see when the time was right for us." Ginny said. "Whenever you want to. It's your body and I want you to have control over it. I don't care if it's in 10 years. It's up to you." Harry said. "Aww...thanks."
