Chapter Thirty: A Great Joy is Coming

Ginny & Harry have planned their baby shower and everything has gone so smoothly.

"Can you put that there......and that there......oh! and that there!.... Perfect!" Ginny said. Harry walked up to Ginny. "Hey, darling," Harry said. "Hey.." Ginny said exhaling heavily. "What's wrong?" Harry asked worryingly. "I'm okay. I just need to sit down for a second." Ginny said. They went back inside and sat on the couch. Ginny laid her feet on Harry's lap while laying on the couch. "I've just been so busy I haven't had the chance to sit down and my feet are hurting really badly," Ginny said. "You know you could have asked for a break?" Harry replied. 

"Yeah I know but I just wanted to get the decorating over with," Ginny said. "Let me see if I can bring you out a chair so you can do that while sitting. "Thanks, Harry," Ginny replied. Harry found her a chair to sit in and put it outside. Ginny finished helping decorate for the baby shower. She came back inside to Harry. "Well, the food should be here within an hour. The sweets should be here at about the same time." Ginny said to Harry.

The day was perfect. It was about 25*C (77* F) outside. No wind. A bright and sunny day to have a great gathering outside. Everything was looking perfect! All of the family were going to be there and their friends from Hogwarts were invited to the shower. All seems to be going well. Now it has come time to start the baby shower!

She has her hair tied back into a messy bun and light makeup. She walked downstairs as quickly as she could to join the baby shower for their baby.

Ginny & Harry had the best time at their baby shower with lots of gifts from family & friends for their baby to come soon. They gave their guests the update on the baby and then they played baby shower-related games and just had a great time. Ginny enjoyed herself a lot! She got to see people she hadn't seen since the battle of Hogwarts and it was nice to catch up with them. 

They got lots of baby clothes, diapers, baby bottles, pacifiers, stuffed animals to go into the baby's room. Molly and Arthur even surprised them with a baby room set! Ginny was shocked and very pleased with her parents. She had no idea that they were planning on giving them a baby room set! But all things have to come to an end and everyone went home happy and satisfied. 

"Hey, Harry," Ginny said. "Hello sweet," Harry replied as he kissed her. "Did you have a good time?" Ginny asked. "Yeah, I actually did. Did you see that Professor McGonagall came?" Harry asked. "I did! I'm surprised she came!" Ginny said. "Me too! Well, she's practically seen us grow u and fall in love so I don't doubt it." Harry said as they both laughed. 

Hermione, Ron & Rosie walked into the room. "Hi, Rosie!" Ginny said as she tried to pick up Rosie. Rose was getting very heavy at this point and Ginny had an almost 37-week baby belly. "You're getting so big, Rosie!" Ginny said. "Thank you, Aunt Ginny," Rosie replied. "Well, we might as well get ready for bed? Shall we?" Harry said as he stick out his hand towards Ginny. "We shall," Ginny replied as she took his hand. They went up the stairs together and got ready for bed.

All was well. Ginny has everything she needs and a baby on the way with the love of her life. But at any moment......
