Between my mom and best friend Ari this wedding planning process has been smooth sailing. Now it's count down time to our big day. The fact that I get to spend forever with my best friend is still mind blowing to me. Currently, we're packing for this family and friends trip to the Bahamas.
"Baby, we got everything?," Brent inquired.
"Yes babe, I check our travel check list twice," I replied.
"Cool," he said and peck my lips.
Now we play the wait game of going to the airport. Brianna is almost a year old.
"You ready for some fun in the sun baby girl?," I asked her as she sat on my lap.
She clapped her hands and gave me a warming smile. Her teeth were coming in.
"Me too," I beamed.
Brent was having his driver drop us off at the airport. After the car is loaded and the alarm set, we're out the door. Our friends and family would meet us on the private plane. As we pulled up we could see the other vehicles with our loved ones waiting. The driver helped us unload and then the bag handlers took care of the rest. My mom, his brother and parents, Harley& Aaron along with god son Ethan would be tagging along.
"Hey everybody," I greeted everyone.
"Hey sis," Harley and his brother said.
"Hey sweet pea," mom said.
"Hi future daughter in law," Mrs. Woods said.
Which caused me to smile.
"Y'all I'm so geek and glad that y'all could attend this trip," I replied.
"We wouldn't miss it for the world," Harley said.
Everyone agreed with her. We got settled and situated on the plane. About a good hour into the flight, Brianna was doing good so far. I knew how fussy she could get due to her gums and with us flying I knew this was a new experience for her. Brent and his folks played uno, while I vibed out to music. Harley was knocked out, along with Ethan and Aaron.
Finally, in the Bahamas....
