The Guardians work together, but mostly in pairs. One Light and Dark Guardian work together. The Dark Guardian will fight and protect the Light Guardian who can't use their Dark abilities very much since they don't have a lot of Dark magic. The Light Guardian will heal the Dark Guardian whenever injuries arise.
Even though they work in pairs, each pair always know where everyone else is. They are also able to communicate with each other no matter what.
