'Everyone walks through the empty streets of Savannah. Lee, Ben, Christa,Carley,Kenny,& Aslan have drawn their pistols, and Chuck carries a shovel. Omid limps along, his injured leg now bandaged. Clementine walks beside Lee and looks at her walkie-talkie attached to his hip & Duck Walks besides Kenny.'

"Can't I just hold it? Just for a little while? We're getting real close to where my mom and dad are, maybe I can--"

"Not now, I need you to focus. Keep your attention on the street."

"How's Omid?"

'Carley turns to Christa.'

"His leg's pretty bad."

"I'm fine, Hon.'

"You're not fine, you need to rest. He needs to rest."

'Christa turns around to Lee.'

"If you're smart, you'll know that It's not safe to stop out here in the open. So it's not an option."

'Aslan says with a blunt tone.'

"I don't know how much longer he can keep on like this. If his leg gets any worse, we're going to have to carry him."

"Or leave him."

"What? No, that's not an option. We can't!"

"Lady, I've known you for all like twelve hours. You don't get to say "we", unless you mean just you and him."

"You know, since this all started, I've seen the best come out of a lot of people, and the worst come out of a lot of others. I guess we know which side you came down on."

"God, please don't start arguing.."

'Carley said in a tired tone.'

"There you go again, "we". There is no "we", there's "us", and there's you and your boyfriend slowing "us" down."

"Go to hell, Kenny."

"Christa, Kenny & Aslan are right. The longer we stay out in the open, the more dangerous it is for all of us."

" I'm not leaving him!"

"No one's asking you to. We just gotta keep moving. All of us."

"Lee, can't you help him? His leg looks really bad."

'Carley asks.'

"Yeah, you're right. Omid, here, give me your arm"

'The belltower starts ringing.'

'The whole group stops in their tracks.'

"Maybe this city's not so dead after all..."

"Keep moving. No one's ringing that bell, it's automatic, on a timer."

'Lee checks his watch' "What kind of church bell goes off at twenty past the hour?"

'Carley notices a figure climbing on the rooftop'

"Hey,I think I saw someone on the rooftop."

"Are you sure? I don't see anything."

" I know what I saw. there's someone up in that belltower! Someone alive!"

'The radio crackles.'

"If I were you, I'd get out of the street. Now."

"What the hell? I thought you said that thing didn't work!"

'Christa says as she turns towards Lee.'
