"hey, bella wait up!" the voice of liam shouted down the hallway.
the girl halted her walk, turning around to see liam running up to her.
"we're still on for tonight, aren't we?" he questioned, very unsure and hoping the girl hadn't changed her mind.
"yeah of course, i'll pick you up at 7?" arabella nodded her head in agreement, reassuring liam.
"okay cool, you know i was a bit unsure after the whole thing, y'know? that was a mess. i like that we're friends now-" liam rambled on before being cut off.
"yeah, totally. just think this of a... peacekeeping?" she shrugged her shoulders.
"oh yeah, sure. one hundred percent. i better- i better go to class, see you later." the boy dashed off holding onto the strap of his rucksack, speeding off towards his lesson.
arabella smiled at the boy and his nervousness. she knew she should, and she didn't want to, but no matter how much she told herself she hated him, she couldn't. a strong dislike? maybe. a hatred? absolutely not.
"ahhh, was that lover boy again?" stiles made arabella jump as he placed his hand on her shoulder.
"no, absolutely not." she refused, shrugging the boys hand off her shoulder. she always wondered how he would appear out of nowhere.
"yeah, you keep telling yourself that!" he shouted as he walked off, down the hallway.
"i will!" she protested back.

arabella pulled up to liam's house in her brothers car. she was sat in a black jeep, a similar size to stiles', but much newer and much cleaner.
she was there a few minutes early, she never wanted to be late.
at seven o'clock, on the dot, liam walked outside his house and went straight towards the jeep, a small box in his hand.
"hey, thanks for picking me up. here-"
"it's fine, really. liam you don't have to give me anything. it's just a ride, it's not much."
"no, no. it's fine, i want you to have this." he insisted as he handed arabella the box.
"thanks liam. maybe you're not too bad after all." she replied, giving him a small grin as he rolled his eyes.
"liam, this is gorgeous! you didn't have to, truly." arabella was beyond thankful for the sliver necklace in front of her. it seemed liam really was trying to win her over.
"yeah it's uh- it's an apology. for being so harsh on you." nervousness was apparent in his tone.

the rest of the car ride wasn't overly dull. the pair had held a conversation for the majority of the journey, arabella's playlist giving them background noise.
liam couldn't help but notice how similar her music taste was to his, he knew almost every song that played. he liked her more every day.
arabella still wasn't fond on liam, that was until he have her that necklace. she still wasn't sure why he would give her such a thing, but she was grateful for the gift. she thought it was a true act of kindness.
"liam, we're here i think. that's stiles' jeep, isn't it?"
"err, yeah it is i think."
the two stepped out of the car, walking beside each other. arabella could see lydia stood by the window, wearing a red cardigan.
liam opened the front door for the both of them, letting arabella go through it first.
however, arabella was hesitant to go through, feeling extremely guilty for what was about to happen.
"why're you guys all stood like that?" confused, he turned his head to look at the girl.
"i'm sorry." she whispered.
i'm so so sorry for not being active!!! i've had a lot going on with school recently.
enjoy!!
