The life of sky // Luke hemmings

He is and always will be

"Oh hey sky!"
Luke greeted me and as he got closer. I could tell he was nervous about something.

"Something wrong, Lucas?"

"No, not at all."

"Okay... Lukey! So Lukey, what's got you all worked up?"

" Ummm actually I need to talk to you."
I could see his palms getting sweaty and he started rubbing them on his pants.

"Okay then." I said trying to hide my anticipation. Could this be the moment he tells me how he truly feels about me, and maybe even- , no that will never happen. I sigh as my thoughts dissipate, and follow him into my house.

"What?"

"Oh nothing, just thinking."

"Okay, so as I was saying I need to talk to you." he looked 10 times more nervous now than he did before.

"okay" was all I said, still trying to think what he might say.

"So, you and Carmen are good friends, and um well I kinda like her and I was thinking maybe you could help me out?" I faked an excited tone and told him I most definitely would, even though I didn't want to, i would.

"thanks so much sky." Was all he says before standing and leaving. I walk up the stairs and plop on my bed, just wanting to sleep. And eventually I was out.

A loud slam woke me from my peaceful slumber, soon followed by foot steps coming up the stairs.

*knock knock*

"come in"

"Hey hun, Liam and I are going to the cheese cake factory to celebrate his promotion in half an hour, you and holly are welcome to join."

"Okay, yeah sure. I'll text Holly and see."
I wasn't up to going anywhere because of my mood, but I didn't want to upset my mom.

Me:'hey holly bear, going to cheese cake factory in half an hour for Liams promo, wanna come?'

She instantly replies.
Holly near: 'Totally! I'll have my mom give me money bc I'm broke, be there soon.xxxx'

I turned off my phone and got dressed to look somewhat presentable and before I knew it the four of us where on our way.
