                 Chapter four

            Seth took Mr. Ki's seat next to the couch. He took my hands in his. "Jaime, do you remember that night we meet?" I nodded. "Well when I took your mother to the elders, I couldn't help but go back for you. Mr. Keto told me to be careful. But Mr. Ki said you wouldn't hurt me. So I went back and imprinted on you. I was hoping it wouldn't work but as you can see it did." He stretched his arms, waiting for a hug.

"What does this mean, Mr. Ki?" Jeremy asked.

"It means Jaime and Seth need to do the ceremony or Jaime will be dead in a matter of ten days." Another elderly man grumbled angrily.

           I cowered into the couch. His eyes were black and his skin was pale and wrinkled. He looked old but deadly. Seth patted my knee. "We can handle it right, Shorty." I shook my head.

"Gezz Jamie the ceremony is sex for crying out loud. You two have wanted to be in bed with each other since day one." Dustin shouted. I threw a pillow at him.

           Mr. Ki glared at Dustin. Seth took the wet cloth off my forehead. I touched his cheek. "Seth, not tonight okay. Greg's blood is still in my system. You will get poisoned if you even kiss me.  We... I... We can't." I whispered. Seth quietly picked me up.

"Mr. Ki we'll be back in a few minutes. I need to talk to my mate." Seth said proudly. Mr. Ki nodded.

             Seth carried me to a room upstairs to the right. It was big and brown. He laid me on his bed. "Why? Why Seth? Why did you imprint on me? And why do we have to do a ceremony involving sex? I'm not ready for that." I shook my head.

"I did it because I needed to protect you. The only way the elders would let me is if you are my mate. Now they want more commitment from me. They want me to do the ceremony to show dominance over what they believe to be the enemy. You. They want us to create an army. Did you know that shapeshifters can give birth to three babies at a time? You will be pregnant for five days. I'm so sorry, baby." He said with anger in his tone.

         I took the blanket off me and shifted to a wolf. I jumped off the bed. Seth took off his clothes and turned to his wolf form. "Now doesn't this feel better? I feel good I'm naked and I don't care because I'm a wolf." I laughed as I circled Seth.

"Jaime, come on get serious." Seth complained. I jumped onto his back. He flipped me over to where I was under him. "Fine, let's play a game." Seth laughed. I grinned. "If I win you drink my blood tonight and if you win I will wear Terry's bra for three days."

             I ran out the door before he said anything else. I ran down the stairs. Then I ran to the back door. But Matty blocked it. So I tried the front door but Peter blocked it then I tried the garage door but Julio blocked it. I ran toward the side window. Out of nowhere Dustin got in the way. They were all in their wolf forms. Every way out  was blocked. Seth ran down the stairs. He tapped the door with his nose and told me he won. "No far you cheated. Your pack helped." I complained.

"A deal is a deal. So do you want to turn into a vampire and bite me or do this old school?" He laughed. I walked up the stairs.
