I can't believe I made it this far wow. Chapter twelve time to meet the twins. JOY. This chapter has been edited from its original version to soften up the relationships Jaime has. Sorry Seth isn't in much of it. I felt a little disconnected to his character after the twins were born. I felt that the tribe had to much control to allow any contact between Seth and Jaime.
Sorry I took so long I was waiting to see if more readers were coming up
If I have 1,000 readers I will post the chapters much faster
The pic is super cute and I think these twins look perfect for this scene
Here we go

Chapter twelve
Three hours after I went into labor, Jeremy, Dustin and Kevin arrived to talk to Seth. As they left, Quinton stayed. I was in a lot of pain. His touch relaxed me a little. But the pain masked it. "Jaime, just breathe in and out." He whispered. I did what he said.
The doctors rolled me to the delivery room. I told them Quinton and Charlotte can't stay with me. The last thing I need is for them to attack me as I'm giving birth. They gave me the epidural which hurt really badly.
As I was giving birth, Seth and Dustin rushed into the room. Dustin stood to the side with his arms crossed. Seth ran over to hold my hand. I was in labor for 38 hours. The panting, the screaming, the crying, the pain was all worth it when I heard the first baby's cry.
The doctor asked Seth if he wanted to cut the umbilical cord. Seth shook his head. He was too focused on me to bother caring about the little things. "It’s a girl." The doctor told me.
The next baby came out quickly. He didn't cry though. The doctors rushed to help him. I was sweaty and tired when it was over. The blood on the doctors’ hands made me feel nauseous. Dustin took pictures of the babies with his phone. Seth comforted me. What a painful experience! This is what the elders want me to go through as much as possible then they are crazy! I am not doing this again.
When I woke up, Seth was arguing with Kevin and Jeremy. Dustin was sitting in a chair on my side. His head was by my hip. I put my fingers through his hair. He lifted his head and grinned at me. "What time is it?" I asked them.
"Its 9:25 in the morning. You should rest more." Kevin said quietly. Jeremy was glaring at me.
Dustin picked up my hand and kissed my knuckles. I blinked a few times before I realized what was going on. They weren't here for just the babies they are here for me too. "Where are the babies?" I asked quickly. Dustin smoothed my hair back. He shushed me.
"Right here" Charlotte called from the futon by the window. She had the girl in her arms. Reggie was nowhere in sight. Quinton had the boy in his arms.
Seth crossed his arms as he led Kevin and Jeremy out of the room. Dustin asked if he could lie beside me. I nodded. He got behind me. I leaned my head onto his chest. He stroked my hair and hummed the song Open arms. "I'm sorry. I hurt you. Will you please come back to us? I talked to the elders. They agreed to leave you alone for five years. After that they want you to do the ceremony with anyone else in the pack. They don't trust you with Seth anymore; besides your imprint was broken when your son was born." Dustin sounded hurt as he explained.
Come back to the tribe that wants me as an army maker, not a chance. I have priorities now. I don’t want my babies thinking their mother is some kind of hoe. I have no interest in being a disappointment to them. I shook my head. “I’m happy where I am. I love being a part of a family.” I protested. Dustin placed his hand on my cheek.
