Chapter IV: BIZZARE BREAKFAST?!

"YAWWWNN..." Dan goes as she wakes up to greet a new day, somehow forgetting what happened yesterday, probably from how tired she was, Dan washes up in her bathroom and gets dressed and ready for the day.

Dan then heads straight into the kitchen where she sees her two step-sisters, Eris and Ranj sitting down at the dinner table, Ranj is reading another bl manga it appears to be called "Boyfriends" "What a strange name for a manga" Dan thought to herself, while on the other hand Eris seemed to be spaced out trying her best to stay awake "Classic Eris" Dan thought to herself sarcastically.

On the other hand Jonigiri is cooking breakfast, and Roge is still resting on the kitchen floor curled up in a fetal position.

Dan decides to join everyone in the kitchen even though she was certain that they didn't notice her standing at the entrance and that she wasn't needed in that somewhat spacious kitchen.

"Good morning everyone!" Dan goes in with a cheerful tone as she tries to forget what happened yesterday. "..." there was silence from not only Ranj but also Eris who can be a bit of a loud-mouth at times but then again she had probably fell asleep by accident.

Dan then says once more, "Good morning Eris, Good morning Ranj." but still no answer from either of them.

"Hehe..." Jonigiri laughs "Don't mind them as you can see they're a bit preoccupied right now." Dan just SIGHS as she sits down.

"So how did you like your new room Danny-Dear?" "DANNY-DEAR?!" Dan jumps in shock at hearing the nickname.
"What's wrong, you don't like it?" Jonigiri asks curiously.

"N-no it's not that it was just unexpected is all!" Dan says as he tries not to hurt Jonigiri's feelings "Haha, I see." Jonigiri replies, "Well then can I keep the nickname?" Dan simply nods his head up and down indicating that it's fine by him.

Even though the name was a bit SUS feeling to Dan, she just brushed it off as a cute nickname given to her by her Step-mother.

"Anyways back to our original topic" Jonigiri says, "How did you enjoy your stay in your new room" She says with a smile.

Dan hesitates to respond "W-well..." Dan starts before he looks to his right and can see Ranj staring right at him and at that moment he knew that if he spoke up about it he'd be in even more trouble than he already is in.

"It was great!" Dan replies enthusiastically, "Both Ranj and Eris showed me to my room and told me where everything was and even where I could set up my stuff!" Dan looks back at Ranj, Ranj simply looks back down and continues reading her yaoi.

"PHEW..." Dan goes as he's relieved that he could come up with some sort of lie.
"That's good to hear Danny-Dear" Jonigiri says but she feels that somethings not right, she decides that she'll have to keep a closer eye on these three to see what's truly going on.

A few minutes pass of pure silence before Jonigiri shouts "BREAKFAST! IS! READY!!!" Which instantly grabs everyone's attention including the deep reader Ranj.

Jonigiri places all of the food down on the table and gives Roge a random Dead bird to eat that she found outside while tending to her garden.

"So..." Jonigiri says as she sits down "Tell me, what truly went down in that room between you three" All three of them jump in shock before there's an awkward silence that was soon filled by Roge's very noisy chewing.

Jonigiri then breaks the silence "TELL ME NOW OR ELSE" They all froze in fear but that didn't last long before they realized if they stayed quiet for too long they'd all be in trouble, so the most mature out of the three spoke up.

"Well you see mother-" Ranj was instantly cut off as she knew how well of a manipulate her daughter was. Eris was barely if at all in the conversation as she kept drifting back and forth between the realms of sleep and reality which meant that there was only one person for Jonigiri to interrogate,
The victim of it all, DAN.

"So Danny-Dear tell me how was your REAL experience visiting your new room?" Jonigiri questions harshly.
This time there was no one there to stop Dan from revealing the truth and yet for some odd reason he was still reluctant to do so, but even so Dan pushed through his feelings of fear and guilt and told his step-mother everything that happened that day.

"So I see..." Jonigiri says as she tries to find the right words, "Danny-Dear you see that room that you were in was actually one that belong to the oldest daughter of this family, Mystie, who let's just say was a bit different from the rest like you, I guess you could say that she was a Dork"

And right at that moment Dan realized why Her step-sisters called her a Dork though it was still a bit weird to do so but either way Dan had a hunch that the same way her Step-sisters treated her was how they treated their older sister, Mystie.

Whether it be Envy or Greed Dan will probably never know why the two sisters acted the way they did to him but at least he now knows why he was called dork and treated in such a SUS way though it doesn't make it any more valid in fact it makes it even worse.

Danny then speaks throughout the resounding silence, "So what your telling me is that yoh treated me the way you did because I reminded you of your older sister?" She says to the two sisters they only looked at her with guilt in their eyes before Dan gets up and leaves the house.

"Wait where are you going?" Eris questions Dan hoping that she'll forgive her but Dan doesn't reply she only looks at her with disgust before leaving the house.

"Welp that could've gone better" Ranj says before getting up to leave.
"Are you going after her?" Jonigiri asks
"HA, NO" says Ranj "I'm going to go take a fat Shi-"
"TMI SIS, TMI!" Eris shouts out.
"If you say so, baldie" Ranj says before she walks out of the room."

"I can't stand her sometimes" Eris says annoyed. "Neither can I and I'm her mother" Jonigiri says before picking up all the uneaten plates and putting them in the refrigerator for later.

"I just hope that she'll be ok" Jonigiri whispers to herself as she decides to go take Roge for a walk.

Little did they all know that because of this little family mishap Dan was about to meet the love of her life.
