Chapter VII: Room of Renovations

~The Next Day~

Dan wakes up ready to meet Nalu only that she soon realizes it's at 10 PM and the time now is 10 AM!?
That meant that Dan had 12 hours before she could meet up with her prince and that also meant that she'd have to find something to do for 12 hours!

"Hmm, what should I do to pass the time?" Dan questioned herself as she starts to get out of bed.
"I know!" Says Dan with excitement,
"I'll renovate my room a bit since I'll be living here now, but first I should probably ask Joni if that's OK with her."
Dan then gets dressed and all cleaned up before going to ask Jonigiri the big question.

Dan heads down to the kitchen where she sees Joni cooking breakfast.
"Now is the perfect time!" Dan thought to herself as she rushes over to her Step-mother.
"Heh, seems like someone had pleasant dreams last night" Joni says as she sees Dan run up to her.

"Hey Jonigiri, can I renovate the room that I stay in?"
"You mean Kirstie's old room?" Joni asks concerned.
"I-if it's all right with you."
Dan says as she notices the expression on Joni's face.

...
Joni takes a second to think about her answer soon before she says,
"Sure, Danny-Dear, you may renovate the room just remember to put all of Kirstie's old stuff in a cardboard box, it should be in the closet."
"Yaaaaaay!!" Shouts Dan with much joy as she then hugs Jonigiri,
"Alright, Alright, now go get renovating while it's still early out."
"Right, thanks again!" Says Dan as she heads out to find items to get for her new room, she also remembers to grab her purse this time.

"Hehe, this happiness won't last for long, Danny-Dear, soon the prince shall be ours." Joni mumbles to herself as she somehow burns her hand
while cooking like the Bussy-Saka, step-mother she is.

Dan soon starts out her shopping adventure by buying the items she saw yesterday when she first encountered her prince, Nalu, along with a few other things that she'd think would make her room be more "pogchamp" according to all the cool kids nowadays.

~Timeskip~
After buying a couple of things Dan notices a body pillow in a nearby window and it seemed to have prince Nalu himself on it. Of course with Dan's feelings towards the prince she instantly rushed into the shop and bought the Nalu body pillow.
Now content with how the day went Dan decides to go home.

Once Dan makes it home she checks the clock on the wall and it unsurprisingly reads 2:09 PM and since Dan started her shopping spree at 10 AM, she had only wasted 4 hours and she still had to waste 6 more.
Dan didn't despair just yet because she still had one other ace up her sleeve for saving time, A.K.A, renovating her room!

"Let's get to work!" Dan said optimistically as she heads off to her room.
She then starts replacing all the weird boku no pico figures and Jimin body pillow with better items like a: Cheap Chinese Albedo figure she bought for $16.00 or a Prince Nalu body pillow for $300.

Dan then calls in some movers from out of nowhere to bring in her new refrigerator, in reality Dan loves to spend money which is why she's never allowed to go shopping on her own which, sadly, Jonigiri never knew about till now, but it was already too late.
Dan had practically bought up a whole store's worth of goods?!

"What's happening in here?!" Shouts Jonigiri as she barges into Dan's room,
She then sees to man standing next to a refrigerator in the corner of the room.
"Danny-Dear, come here will you?" Joni says trying to her best to not to lose it.
Dan, although relentlessly, listens to Joni and decides to step out of the room of renovations.

The two step out into the hallway and close the door behind them,
"Danny-Dear, please do explain what all this is?" Says Joni,
"Well, you did say I could renovate the room." Replies Dan,
"YEAH BUT, DON'T YOU THINK A REFRIGERATOR IS A BIT MUCH!" Yells Joni at her innocent step-daughter.

"You don't have to yell Joni and besides didn't you say I could renovate the room?" Asked Dan,
"Yes but, you might as well be moving into a house with how your renovating this room and you don't even need a refrigerator anyways we have one in the kitchen."
"I know, but I wanted my ownnn." Cried Dan.

And this was where Joni's plan was put into motion.

"Alright then, since you want to be so selfish and go out and buy yourself a bunch of junk you'll be staying home for the rest of the day." Said Joni with a smirk on her face.

"What?!", Screeched Dan,"I had plans, tonight!"
"What plans?", asked Joni as if she didn't know
"None of your business, now let me go!"
Shouted Dan with anger
Joni then pins Dan against the wall.

"I know you're going to meet with the prince" She whispers in Dan's ear
Dan's face now full of shock, not knowing what to do Dan just stands there in silence.
"Once you're done renovating your room you'll be staying in that room all night long, while me and your step-sisters are getting ready for the ball." Joni says as she walks away
"See ya later, Danny-Dear!" She says mockingly.

Dan, now at a loss of words, doesn't know what to do. He knows that if he doesn't listen he'll be in trouble, but what about her prince?
Dan soon to be stuck in her room, now wondering what to do.
