The tale of two slugs?

Part 1:The tale begins

"Kord cover me my blaster needs to recharge till I can use fusion shot again!" Eli yelled as ghouls and slugs flew Kord firing off a gernuke slug as a diversion before firing a frostcrawler to build a wall of Ice so the gang could regroup for a minute.

"Alright how many slugs does everyone still have? Ive got Burpy, Joules and Rookie. Along with Banger. Planning on using my fusion shot with Burpy and joules leaving me with Rookie and banger. What do you guys have slug wise?" Things werent looking to good, Pronto and Kord had 2 slugs, Trixie had 3. BOOM the wall was done "oh floppers" pronto sighed before firing off his Flatulorhinkus as a diversion as Eli shot the fusion shot as a new type of Ghoul hit Burpy and Joules as they hit the ground, Blakks helpers ran screaming. The shane gang decided to investigate seeing two humans lying there passed out with. They were starting to wake up the gang held them at blaster-point unsure if they were freind or foe. Eli's mind was racing wondering what happened to Burpy and Joules.

"Hey Eli!" The redhead smiled getting up "Whoa why do I feel so tall?!" The gang just stood there in disbelief "Wait burpy?" Eli questioned "Does that mean that hes joules?" He pointed to the Bronzed blue haired guy on the ground still. Burpy looked down realizing what was happening "Wait if hes- does that mean I- How did-" He was baffled. "Theres this old cavetroll legend about a slug that changes slugs into whatever living thing they last touched? Which for Burpy and joules was Eli so they became human." Kord explained helping Joules up. "Yeah well we shouldn't talk about it out here, lets get back to the hideout." Trixie said hopping onto her mecha beast. "Me and cord have the biggest mechas, that means Joules, Burpy your riding with us."

~.~at the hideout~.~

Burpy curled up to joules on the couch as a bunch of slugs surronded them confused squeaking "Hey guys, yeah This is a new development" Joules smiled sheepishly. "You can still understand them?" Eli asked sitting across from them Burpy nodded snuggling up to Joules "Im assuming the slugs effects work like the enigmo so we have to hit you guys again. What isnt adding up is that it was a ghoul that hit you two, yet other then the fact your humans you two seem fine." Eli sighed "Just to be safe we'll have Doc heal the slug before we shoot the shot again" he sighed "A benefit to this is that there is a lot more joules I get to snuggle now" Burpy giggled making Joules blush "Wait are you two, y'know 💅" Eli asked Joules nodded "So are chiller and spinner." He layed back Burpy nuzzling up to him "I knew you two were most likely gay but never would have guessed Chiller and spinner." Eli shrugged "its getting late, well head over to the shadow clan tomorrow and see if we can borrow Doc for a minute to heal the ghouled slug then get you two back to normal alright?" The two humanified slugs nodded settling down for bed
