Oftentimes I wonder, how high my tolerance must be.
If only I had the money, and the willpower to just make a single person disappear.
He has been on my trail, sniffing and constantly chattering.
I don't respond, I never have.
What does he want from me?

Today, I found out my tolerance wasn't as high as I'd made it out to be.
The rubber band hidden within me had finally snapped.
My mouth wasn't mine to control.
My tongue formed words I had sworn never to utter.
My heart ached at the unmistakable sign that
I, might be like them.
And all I could remember was the color of
utter devastation
that scattered his features as he turned away.
