Life and death

I ran and didn't stop running. She was gaining on me. My heart sound like a drum beating against my chest. I trusted the other children but I didn't trust her, I couldn't trust my "friend". A wall was straight up ahead but I couldn't stop. I was going to die either way. I was just an animal at the slaughter house all along. Vulnerable, scared and alone. Nobody could save me. I was done for.

Everything went black. Then there was light. I was dead I thought my destiny had arrived. "Shes woken up" ghost was there and so was mum. I could smell blood and saw red on the sheets. It was then that I remembered that Lily's dad beat her. That's when it struck. Ghost was her dad and she was getting vengeance on him all along. "Monster" I screamed, "you beat your daughter and you knew she looked for vengeance. You locked me up. I was the perfect bait." Everyone in the room stared and silence hit. I was right and he knew it.
