She's happy, she's got a shine,
It's the glow on her face not mine.
They think she's got all the control,
But nobody knows she's dying.
She 'ought to tell them the truth,
But it was just a waste of time.
They wouldn't understand what she was fond of,
Although it was worth trying.
'She's weak! She's made for kitchen' they said out loud!
"Is that clear?" the whole society asked like she was nine.
Unable to follow her dreams, she stood behind everyone in a line.
It was impossible to fight the society,
But it was worth trying!
