"Dupain-Cheng! That is my notebook!" Chloe exclaimed. Marinette looked up from her notes and frowned.
"Chloe, you don't even do your own notes. Sabrina has your notebook! Look, she's taking your notes right now!" She pointed to the table in front of hers, where Sabrina looked up and waved. Marinette waved back but Chloe glared at Marinette.
"Shut up, Dupain-Cheng! You don't even have a soulmark! You don't have a soulmate. Unlike me!" She gestured to her arm, which had a black handprint wrapped around it. Sabrina waved her fingers, showing her hand was black. Marinette looked down at her notebook and ignored Chloe, sketching in the margins of her notebook. Chloe huffed in frustration and stomped to her seat.
"Girl, you ok?" Alya asked. "Do you want me to talk to her?" Marinette shook her head and smiled.
"It's ok! Don't get in trouble because of me." She smiled wider. "Besides, we still need to find your soulmate! I have a few theories, including-"
Alya covered Marinette's mouth with her hand. "Shush!" Marinette laughed. "What're you drawing?"
Marinette covered the sketch with her hand. "Nothing!"
"Oh, bull. C'mon! Show me!" Marinette sighed, knowing she wasn't going to win. She uncovered the paper and showed Alya the drawing of Marinette with black dots on her arm like freckles. "Is that you with a soulmark? That's really good!" Alya studied the mark then smirked. "Would that mark happen to be the counterpart to a certain someone in this class?" Marinette shoved her shoulder and they burst into laughter.
"Girls! Pay attention!" Ms Bustier called. They quickly faced front and Ms Bustier continued her lesson.

Ladybug did her lucky charm and used the wooden spoon to fashion a small catapult with her yo-yo and a few sticks from the ground. She used it to distract the villain so Chat Noir could use his cataclysm to destroy their hairclip containing the akuma.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" She shouted. The Ladybug swarm rushed around, fixing everything back to the way it was before the battle. She turned to Chat Noir and waved before launching herself away with her yo-yo. She landed in her room and detransformed. Seconds after detransforming, she heard Chat Noir land on her roof deck. She sighed and opened the trapdoor, letting him in.
"Hey, purr-incess!"
"Hey Chat!" Marinette smiled and he plopped himself onto her chair, missing slightly and almost falling to the floor. She giggled and he joined in, their laughter bubbling up and filling the room.
"Could I stay here for a while? I don't really want to go home." Chat asked softly. Marinette nodded and he smiled.
"You could have a sleepover, if you wish. Ooh, I could get a movie and popcorn and blankets and-"
"That sounds great." Chat interrupted her. She smiled sheepishly and he chuckled.
"I'll go get the movie and popcorn." Marinette slipped downstairs and looked for a movie.
Once Chat knew she was gone, he started to look around. He didn't want to invade her privacy, but his curiosity got the best of him. Marinette was always a mystery. No one really knew her, except maybe Alya. He saw her sewing setup and a trunk by her couch. He opened it and saw a ton of wrapped presents. "It isn't anywhere near Christmas?" Chat muttered. He closed it and looked at her bed. Seeing a bulletin board covered in pictures he couldn't make out, he climbed the ladder and sat on her bed.
As he got closer, the pictures became clearer. The board was covered with pictures of Adrien Agreste. Pictures from photo shoots, magazines, commercials and some with him hanging out with his friends. Chat flushed. 'Could she have a crush on...no' He thought for another minute. 'That would explain a lot, though.'
