More Mutants

We eventually got to another plane hangar, where we got off, and left the plane. We took the rest of the way there in Charles' car. After about 30 minutes, we pull up to a huge building. It has all different shapes and it looked like there was thousands of offices, labs, and different types of rooms.

I got out of the car after Charles and Erik, and we started off towards the big building. Once we got inside, Charles lead me to a room with other people my age, and told us to talk, and get to know eachother.

I'm quite a people's person, so I immediately go sit down on one of the couches in the room. "Me and Erik will be back soon." Charles said, and with that, he walked out with Erik to find more mutants.

I got a few "Hello's" and "Hi's" when Erik and Charles left, and of course I greeted them back. Beside me on the couch, was a very pretty blonde girl with green eyes. "Hey!", "Hi! What's your name?" "I'm Raven, Charles' sister", "I didn't know Charles had a sister! I'm Y/n by the way".

While the others kept talking and chatting with eachother, me and Raven got to know eachother, and I knew we would be best friends for a lifetime. Suddenly, someone asked me a question, grabbing my attention away from the conversation me and Raven were having.

"So Y/n, what's your gift?" I looked up to find a handsome boy with dark skin, I heard someone call Darwin. "Well, um, I can't really control it that well yet, but um I'll try", I looked around the room until I saw a pen on the table infront of us.

I looked at the pen, with my arm outstretched towards it. I close my eyes and focus on the pen floating in the air. When I heard the others clapping, I open my eyes to see the pen floating in the air, like I wanted it to.

"That's great Y/n!" Darwin congratulated me. "I'm also a telepath like Charles" I stated. "Really?! That's awesome! Now we have 2 telepaths here!" Raven said excitedly.

I couldn't help but feel a smile on my face, from the complements I was getting. "So what's your gift Darwin? Oh! And we should think of superhero names for eachother!", "Well, Darwin's already a nickname, and I adapt to survive, so.." I could see him looking around until his eyes landed on a fish tank in the corner of the room.

He walked over to it, and stuck his head in. Gills appeared on the side of his neck, and he opened his mouth, showing us that he could breath under water. "Woah! That's so cool!" I shouted over the others cheering.

"What do you wanna be called?" Darwin asked a brown haired boy beside him. "I wanna be called.... Banshee", "Why do you want to be named after a wailing spirit?" Asked a boy sitting beside Raven. "You might wanna cover your ears" Banshee said.

We all put our hands over our ears, as he stood up, and crouched down infront of the table in front of us, which had a line of glasses filled with some type of alcohol. He sucked in a big breath, then whistled, but instead of shattering the glasses on the table, it shattered the whole window behind it.
