Heartbreak.
Part I: Heartfelt.
Where could he be? He wouldn't miss this... would he? I saw him, my boyfriend, take a turn onto the street I was waiting on. Relief. Thank god. I would've looked like an idiot standing here.
I looked at him, and smiled. "Hey. Fashionably late, aren't you? As always." I was fairly annoyed that he'd been late, but I covered it up. It doesn't matter. He's amazing as he is.
He smiled. It was so... perfect. "I can't quite help it. You know how getting up in the morning is." His smile deepened. Joy leapt up into my heart. There isn't anyone better. I would do anything for him.
"So...," he said, questioningly, "what shall we do now?" His expression was ecstatic. Anything.
I hid a faint smile and suggested, "Why not the park?" He's always told me he loves the park. The fresh air... maybe I'll get a chance for it...
He walked up closer and took my hand. "Great. Let's go," he told me, as we headed off. No... this isn't the time. Maybe when we get there.
We strolled into the gates of the luscious green that filled the landscape. Beautiful day. he led me to a soft spot in the field, and he looked into my eyes. Staring. They captivated me; I ducked my head down. Wait for it...
He held me around the waist, as I noticed him leaning in closer. A kiss? Perfect. Our lips met, and heartfelt joy jumped around in me. Now? No... Our lips hovered apart. Now. "...I love you."
He seemed surprised, but he regained himself quickly, and grinned. "And you should know I love you too." He reacted well. Thank god.
"Shall we continue on our walk?" he asked. Where is he going with this?
"Of course. Let's go." We glided through the grass, together. Perfect. We'll be like this. always.
