Okay, we're finally back after having quite a lengthy break!

I haven't done episode 10 yet, simply because I was thinking that whatever I did was enough for a recap. But then I realized that it wasn't so I'm planning to do an Episode 10 later after Episode 11. But for now, let us focus to the goal – our Episode 11.

When I posted my initial thoughts last night, there were a few of questions pouring down my DMs (in Wattpad ) - questions regarding what happened and what will happen in the next episode, or what happened in the novel etcetera etcetera. So, I hurried and wrote this one and I hope that this would answer some of your questions (at least).

As I wrote in what I posted about Episode 11 last Friday (technically posted Saturday), Episode 11 isn't like other Episode 11s in other BL Series. I considered Bad Buddy's Episode 11 as a healing episode with a very subtle slow burn at the end. It was wholesome but at the same time it was also sad if you think it over. But nevertheless, we liked it and it was okay until you realized where the slow burn moment was – right?

So let's try to dive in deeper:

First, I would like to discuss about Junior's circumstances and how Pran actually saw himself in Junior.

At a glance, Junior and Pran are two different personalities. No one would actually think that Pran would see himself in Junior in the end. I mean, why and how?

The answer is quite simple. You know when people do something wrong and they actually see themselves easily in the eyes of other people? Notice when you have a fight with your mom and then you run away, then out of the blue, you see a mother and a child walking happily and then you immediately feel guilty? That's it. The association our superego makes to make us feel extra guilty to whatever we've done is a very powerful influence that can intensely make us rethink to whatever we did.

But other than that, Pran saw himself in Junior because his situation before and now was really happening to Junior.

So paint the scene, when Pat and Pran arrived at the zero-waste village, the first thing that welcomed them were Junior and Uncle Tong fighting. Later, it was revealed that it was because: Junior's mom was supposed to bring him back to Bangkok. Junior was supposed to be enrolled there to have a better future and he will also be living with his mom. But you know kids. Once they are attached, it's hard to let go.

Junior was deeply attached to Uncle Tong and the sea. So when his mom came to fetch him, he felt like his mom is trying to take away the things that he likes. And to top it off, Uncle Tong was very supportive to his mom so he got angry at Uncle Tong as well. Familiar?

Now, let's paint another scene... this time, with Pran. Okay, let's start when Pran was in high school. He had an affinity to music. He loves playing the guitar. So to satisfy this, he together with Pat joined the school band. He was the band's lead guitarist and lead vocals; and for the time being, he was happy [there, you could say that he got attached to the band and Pat]. But when his mom knew of this, she was livid. Because his mom feels like Pat is a bad influence to Pran, he dragged Pran away from everything [he likes] and transfers him somewhere because she thought it would be a better choice for Pran. To top it off, completely banning him from touching even a guitar string.

And now that he realizes what his mom's real intentions were, he ran away – with Pat. Just like what Junior is doing right in front of his eyes.

So get what I'm talking about? Yeah you should.

Furthermore, sside from that, Pran actually understood the whole situation; that's why, when he was able to talk to Junior's mom and got her perspective while giving her his own perspective to Junior's behaviour [through experience], the creeping guilt he had for running away and fighting with his mom finally hit him like a wrecking ball.
