Kongpob lounged around the entire day, eating and drinking properly. Today being the first day he took a good look around the cabin he was staying in. The beautiful decorations and garden. So simple but having a classy ring to it all.
He was getting restless as the hours went by and accepted Ashton barging in with a massive mango pie. Kongpob sat on the couch near the fireplace as Ashton rambled on and on about every possible thing he could think of.
He was going to miss it. He would miss this whole place but that won't stop him from the giddiness. Kongpob did decline Arthit's proposal but that doesn't mean Kongpob doesn't have dreams and plans of going back if Arthit asked again.
He was already packed and unable to work anyway. The little one inside was growing and he was weak.
"Have you listened to anything I've said?" Ashton crossed his arms, puffing out his cheeks.
Kongpob gave him a guilty smile and nodded, soon giggling. He reached out to Ashton but he moved away, grumbling and pouting. Kongpob launched at Ashton, hugging him. Feeling warm when he was hugged back.
"You good?" Kongpob nodded and parted, smiling widely.
"I will be leaving soon..." Kongpob looked down, playing with his finger. Waiting for the response.
"Oh..." Ashton looked at him, the light in the eyes dimming. Ashton put on a bright smile, "I will still be the favorite uncle." He looked up, putting his chin up in the air, and crosses his arms once more.
Kongpob let out a breath and laughed, "yes you will." Ashton left soon after and Kongpob didn't urge him to stay, knowing if Arthit came back...
Kongpob paced around, wiped the countertops, ate some snacks, and then finally dinner. With some of the leftover mango pie. Craving for something else...
It was getting late at night and Arthit hadn't called, texted, left those pesky notes, or arrived. And Kongpob was starting to worry. Where could Arthit be this long? Even his side hobbies didn't take this long. He knew.
Kongpob laid in bed, resting his back. Sleep not coming to him, he tossed and turned for hours until he heard the door open. He jumped up, holding his head from the sudden movement.
He walked over and saw Arthit taking off his shoes and sighing. He ran to Arthit, feeling overwhelmed. He was so scared, so scared that he pushed Arthit away just for his silly tantrum.
He placed Arthit's hand over his bulging belly, "I am so sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I should have known my place..." Kongpob hugged Arthit crying, wrapping his arms tightening around Arthit's hips.
"I can't even satisfy your needs anymore...I am sorry." Kongpob shook in soft sobs, the whole day's stress and anxiety releasing now. And Kongpob couldn't even stop himself or the words that escaped.
Arthit felt himself being skinned with those words...the way Kongpob didn't know what he meant to Arthit. He didn't know he was capable of feeling so much even after shutting all his humanity away ages ago.
Since the awful night where his innocence as a child was stolen. Arthit cupped Kongpob's face gently and looked at him. Both eyes brimming, all for different reasons. He leaned down and nudged Kongpob's nose, before pecking it. And unleashing kisses all over his face.
Arthit's tears falling on Kongpob's face as he apologized over and over again for everything. For traumatizing. For breaking. For hurting him physically, mentally, and emotionally. For destroying Kongpob's innocence.
Kongpob freezes, feeling the vulnerability drip off from Arthit with every small sob against his face. He holds Arthit's hand over his face and smiles. He opened his mouth to reassure Arthit that he wasn't broken. Not anymore.
