The forgotten

Alone-chapter 1

Today was another day, the sun rose like every morning shining over the village and fields in the distance. I yawned as I opened my eyes, I hopped out of bed thinking about everything I had to do today: I need to visit my auntie today and give her the cake my mom made, I need to wash the dishes and I still need to finish my Maths homework . Pushing all that aside I decided to get ready. "Hmm..it's awfully quiet today" I thought to myself, usually my siblings would be causing a ruckus running around the place or just hurrying so they won't be late. I brushed it off as they were just tired and had already went out to school. I quickly finished getting ready and went to head downstairs, "Odd" I said to myself wondering why mom wasn't calling me down for breakfast. Now that I think about it..she usually calls me down while I'm getting ready. Something doesn't feel right, something is very wrong..I hurriedly ran down the stairs just to see that nobody was there. Nobody at all. Just an empty kitchen with everything the way it was the night before.."Mom!?" I shouted trying to find out where she was, "Mom!! Dad!!?" I shouted louder however I got no response. All that awaited me was silence. "She wouldn't be at work would she?" I questioned then decided to look at the clock above the kitchen window. It's only 8:00am she usually goes to work at 10:00am..dad I could understand since he works earlier on some days but mom works at the same time everyday not to mention my siblings don't leave until 9:00 I can't be overthinking this right. Maybe..maybe they all went out somewhere? Or maybe everyone had to leave early for something! I decided to quickly take a look outside to make sure I wasn't stressing for nothing, I decided to see if my neighbour Akio was out. She usually does gardening at this time making sure to keep all of her flowers healthy I'll be able to ask her where everyone went! Calming myself down I went over to where she gardens only to realise nobody was there not only that but to my surprise there was nobody..nobody at all. I was alone. All alone. It was like everyone just vanished into thin air but that's not possible right? Right...The wind grew heavier and the sun went away, hidden behind the clouds. I got out my phone in a panic with it being my last hope, "Maybe I could contact them" I thought to myself. I tried calling them only to hear "This number is no longer available" In a state of shock I dropped my phone, "Not...available? but..how that's not possible...if they got a new phone they'd say..why..why is this happening! Someone please tell me what's going on!!" I yelled in a state of despair and worry, I ran..ran and ran to find somebody,anybody! To tell me what's going on. I couldn't keep track of how long I ran for all I know is it was for miles and before I knew it I collapsed onto the ground not knowing what to do I was completely hopeless. I was truly..alone.
