The Turtle King *COMPLETED*

Chapter 11: The King has returned! It is time.

The rain begins to fall, extinguishing the fire. Mushroom and Skyla emerge through the smoke as they walk side by side and as Skyla folded her wings again. Leonardo descends the Palace. Aries stands on a nearby rock and, as Leonardo passes, bows. A group of hunters and huntresses patted him on his shoulder as one of them, Leatherhead, handed his swords to him. Leonardo thanked him and the others. Leonardo exchanges nuzzles with Natalie, then Ariella. There is a clatter of gourds, which makes Leonardo, Ariella and Natalie look up. Rockwell stands near the Palace. 

He gestures to the pedestal. Leonardo approaches Rockwell, who bows. Leonardo draws Rockwell into a hug, and, after a moment, Rockwell returns it. Rockwell grips Leonardo by the shoulders. "It is time." He said. Leonardo walks towards the pedestal of the Palace. Natalie and Ariella watch from below. Everyone and everything is soaked from the rain. Leonardo begins to ascend the pedestal. Aries watches in awe. Mushroom and Skyla do likewise. 

The rain washes away an animal skull. As Leonardo reaches the edge of the pedestal, he stops and looks up at the stars. The clouds part.

Splinter's voices echoes. "Remember."

Leonardo's expression changes to confidence. He musters himself as he got his swords into his hands and then he let out battle cries.

Chorus: Busa le lizwe bo. Busa le lizwe bo.

The hunters let out their battle cries.

Chorus: Busa le lizwe bo. Lethu busa ngoxolo.

The huntresses let out their battle cries and roars.

Chorus: Is'khathi sifikile.

Ariella, her mother Aurora and both of Leatherheads and Triceratons roared.

Lebo M: Se fi le.

Leonardo let out his battle cry as the others did as well while holding onto his swords as the rain continues to fall in the grasslands on the Palace.

Chorus: Is'khathi busa iyo.

Lebo M: Baba ti tabo.

Chorus: Is'khathi sifikile.

Lebo M: Maye babo. Busa ilomhlaba.

It shifts to daylight, with the grasslands once more fertile and greener than before.

Chorus: Is'khathi sifikile. Is'khathi sifikile.

Mutated Elephants trumpet while mutated zebras bray.

Chorus: Busa Simba. Busa Simba. Ubuse ngo xolo. Ubuse ngo thando.

Many of the mutated animals gather below the Palace. Leonardo, Ariella, Mushroom and Skyla gaze over the crowd from the pedestal.

Chorus: Ubuse ngo xolo. Ubuse ngo thando. Ubuse ngo xolo.

Birds fly around Leonardo, Ariella, Mushroom and Picasso.

Chorus: Ingonyama nengw' enamabala. Ingonyama nengw' enamabala.

Aries flies around Leonardo, Ariella, Mushroom and Skyla. The wind was blowing through the tail fins of Leonardo's ninja mask.

Chorus: Till we find our place

Mushroom climbs on top of Skyla's head and shakes her arms in victory.

Chorus: on the path unwinding

Leonardo and Ariella nuzzle. Rockwell emerges, cradling a newborn cub.

Chorus: in the Circle,

The cub turns and blinks open its eyes.

Chorus: the Circle of Life.

Rockwell exchanges glances with Leonardo and Ariella, then lifts the cub high.

Chorus: Circle of Life!
