HE PAINTED THEM WITH THEIR BLOOD

JOYCE

The bright light came like a thunder bolt in front of me. My eyes trying adjust to the lighting but failed to doing so, resulted in me harshly getting up from the bed. I look around myself to find me in a hospital. I panic but soon calm down remembering that I am out of the danger. The doctor enters the room, with nurses behind her. The doctor smiled at me and asked me how I was. "Hello miss Joyce. How are you feeling now " Asked the doctor. "Better than ever! " I replied with a hint of happiness. She told me a few things that I needed to take care of. Meanwhile my dumb self not remembering anything from the night before, I ask the doctor  about the person who reported me safely here. She signalled one of the nurse to call the person. The door opened, while my eyes grew wide too. "Jeon jungkook" I screamed on top of my lungs. The doctor telling me to lower my volume. Jungkook scratching his nape awkwardly. He came forward sitting in one of the table, he flashed a bunny smile at me, instantly melting me, I regain my Coumposure. "I saw you last night near my apartment in a bloody state so I thought I could be of some help. After all we met. " Jungkook said nervously. The doctor leaves the room giving them some privacy. "I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM ME. DON'T YOU GET THAT INSIDE YOUR HEAD? I BROKE UP WITH YOU MONTHS AGO AND YOUR STILL HERE TRYING TO GET ME BACK. BUT LISTEN BOY I MOVED ON A LONG TIME AGO AND IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE SELF RESPECT LEFT THEN LEAVE THIS PREMISES. " Shouted Joyce. Jungkook looked shocked but confused at the same time. "What the hell are you talking about Joyce. Your my cousin. " Answered  jungkook. A series of laughter was heard from Joyce. "I know I know, I was just joking around. " Joyce said. Jungkook hearing her finish her sentence laughed with her. "What had happened to you last night? Why we're you in  a bloody state? " Jk asked. The facial expression of Joyce changed. " Umm. I was at a party last night with my boyfriend. He asked me to come with him in the middle of the forest which was just  a few meters ahead from the party destination. He knelt down and removed something from his pocket. I was starting to get excited but I saw a pocket knife. I asked him what he was doing but before I could complete my sentence he sliced the knife through my knee preventing me from running after his attack. His knife was so sharp that my knee didn't take a second to drip the blood. I tried my best to run but he held my ankle. He jerked my ankle taking me on the ground full of rusted leaves. He was just about to stab me when he restrained his hands from stabbing me and turning his head towards my torn jeans. The torn part was just the place where he sliced my knee. He flicked his  tongue on the wounded part. Making a hmmm sound after tasting the blood. I instantly started feeling more scared than I already was. I forced my knee to jab his eyes . I jabbed him hard. He fell on the ground with his hands on his left eye. I got myself up and ran towards the light I could find. I came outside on a street and that's all I remember. Joyce narrated this while sobbing. The memories had made her really emotional. Jungkook decided to leave her alone. Yes he did leave without replying. He asked the receptionist to arrange a cab for  them. As in the good guy from yesterday night who had given him  lift wasent going to give them another lift. Gathering his things and Joyce he exited the hospital. The taxi unexpectedly was waiting for them outside. An zoned out Joyce staring the door handle. Jk opened the door for her and let her inside. The taxi then started "Joyce I haven't experienced anything you have, but I want to tell you it's gonna be okay. Trust me on this " Jk comfortably spoke. Joyce just nodded her head. It was already 10 in the morning. He took joyce to his apartment and gave her the guest room. Getting dressed he saw some whispers coming from the guest room . He took baby steps towards the door, twisting the door handle he found Joyce in the corner of thr room chanting in some different language. He immediately goes to her and shakes her. Joyce then collapses on the ground. He picks her up and lays her on the bed and exists the room.
