It has been a very ordinary day so far. The weather is pleasant and I am nearly done with my accounting work.
I have been working at home for some time now. (Due to ya know)
So I could comfortably brew some tea without getting into trouble at the office.
At this very moment I am nearly done with my work and decided to take a tea break and relax for a bit.
That is when I heard the door slam open, I assume that must have been my roommate finally done with their shift.
I decided to go into the living room to greet them and give them some tea.
Y/n POV :
That shift was an absolute nightmare.
The amount of Karen's today was exsuahasting(??).
And the misgendering.
Don't even get me started with that.
I'll just try to forget about it and chill on the couch.
I slammed open the door not really caring what happens to it and go face first into the couch.
"Hhhhhhhhh" I groaned.
"Why are people so stupid."
"My pronoun were literally on my name tag, they can read the menu but not the tag??"
I went on this rant about people being stupid and not realizing someone was walking thorwards me.
"Are you alright y/n?"
Oh.
I forgot I had a roommate.
"Y/n?"
"Yea I'm fine Zhongli don't worry."
"Are you sure? You sounded quite upset about what happened at your shift today."
I couldn't control it.
I just started crying.
No one's POV :
Zhongli noticed the tears on y/n's cheeks.
"Y/n?.."
Zhongli moved a little closer.
"I."
He tried to find the right words to use.
"I realize this won't take away all your problems, but it doesn't matter what someone thing you are or what you should be. You are the only one who knows and is allowed to say what you are. No one else has a say in that, no matter how close that person might be."
Y/n mumbled "thank you Zhongli..."
"Of course, you mean a lot to me y/n and I'll always be here to assist you if you need any assistance."
"Thank you dear old gramps."
"Hey, didn't I asked you to stop calling me that?"
"Yes but it's funny you gotta admit it.'
