Aster shook himself off a little as he entered North's workshop, glad it was much warmer than outside. The pooka had hoped it would be longer than a year before the guardians would be called back to the workshop, the memories of what Pitch, the Boogeyman, had done to all of them still very fresh in his mind. Though it would be nice to see everyone in one place again, even Jack.

Glancing around Bunny greeted a few of the yeti's as he made his way up towards the Globe Room. Ears twitching the Pooka picked up on a few muffled but familiar voices as he enter the elevator. The ride was thankfully short and soon opened to his destination.

Only North and Sandman were there, North talking jovially with the mute who stated his responses in the small sand images above his head. Sandy was the first to notice the Pooka approaching and give his friend a large smile and wave, North turning to greet the rabbit as well.

"Ah! Bunny glad you could make it!" The large Russian man laughed slapping a hand on Bunny's back in greeting

"Yeah, yeah, mate." Aster chuckled hopping over to the near by fireplace to warm his feet, " 'spose ya won't tell mah why you've called us here yet?"

North stroked his beard for a moment before giving Bunny the answer he expected, "No, Tooth and Jack will be here soon." He laughed

Rolling his eyes a little Bunny went back to his foot warming cursing North silently for living in such a terribly cold place. It was hell on the paws, especially when snow got packed in his fur, yuck.

Bunny couldn't wait for spring, it not only brought his day closer, but warmed the air with many sweet smells of flowers and grass. Reminded him a little of home.

Ears perking up at the familiar sound of buzzing wings Bunny looked up as Tooth entered a few smaller tooth fairies jitterbug around her. All they had to do was wait for Jack, and who knows how quickly that kid will get here.

"Bunny! How has winter been treating you?" It was Tooth's friendly voice that made Bunny finally finish warming up his feet and join the conversation.

"Eh, It's an annoyance, fer sure but luckily the Warren doesn't experience winter." Bunny chuckled, "But ain't made any easier when ya-know-who decides to cause some mischief."

"Talking behind my back? And I expected more from you."

Speak of the devil. Bunny turned to the one and only Jack Frost with is arms crossed over his chest in annoyance.

"While ya are welcome in the Warren, don't mean ya welcome to frost it." Bunny said with a firm glare.

"Oh you're no fun!" Jack laughed, "Besides the Warren needed a little winter decor."

Rolling his eyes again Bunny left the issue as North began cut in.

"Ah! Everyone now here!" The large man began.

"Yeah care to 'splain what the deal is? I was in the middle of a snow day with some kids!" Jack said clearly enjoying his ability to be seen by the children of the world.

"Yes yes," North began, "We have message from Man in Moon." He gestured with a large hand to the moon peeking through an open panel in the ceiling.

That is what drew Tooth fully away from her work for a moment, "Really? What did he say?" She asked

"Well, I don't know! Called you all here as soon as I noticed Man in Moon." North explained

He didn't need to say more as a stream of moonlight trickled in climbing up against the floor before activating a planel on the ground.

"A new guardian..?" North asked softly, surprised

As the pillar shifted into place an image began to illuminate on top. The gentle blue light began to take shape, as each guardian waited with baited breath to witness the new member to join their ranks. The figure soon became clear, a figure with two large ears and feet, a Pooka.

The Spring Hare, Harbinger of Spring, y/n.

All eyes shifted to the only other Pooka in the room. And it caused Bunny to shift his weight a little.

"So you're telling me theirs not one but two giant rabbits hopping around?" Jack laughed

"Yeah... There may be very few of us, but there's still plenty a Pooka kickin'." It was said but true, Bunny was apart of a dying breed, struggling to keep their race and culture alive.

"Oh this should be easy! I'm sure you and the Spring Hare must work together a lot!" Tooth cheerily stated

Bunny rubbed the back of his neck a little, while true when you both worked often overlapped he never really spoke much with her, hell he rarely saw her aside from a new glances.

"Nah, we really don't work tahgether much." Bunny shrugged, " 'Sides not all Pooka know one and other."

Aster knew that she probably didn't know or care about him all that much. Much to busy with changing the season and warming everything up. It was shameful to admit that the first female of his kind he has seen in a long time had peaked his fancy but that's how it was. The Pooka has admired her from afar for a long time, not really getting the chance to act on his interest, nor really wishing too, who knows what your reaction would be. "Oh! You're only interested in repopulation! Leave me alone forever creep!"... that would be reasonable.

"Nonsense Bunny! Even if you don't know 'er I'm sure you'll be fast friends." North chuckled giving the rabbit a pat on the back, "Now go get our newest member... Bringing Jack of course, and some Yeti's."

Of course. The journey to the wintery location didn't take long, Bunny smiled softly at the faint smell of spring that lingered in the air, she's nearby beginning the process of bringing spring here. The search for the female Pooka did not take long, as a giant rabbit pushing a large snowball down the street wasn't exactly a normal thing to see in the middle of the suburbs. Bunny quietly shifted on the roof of the building he was on the Yeti's to his side and Jack on the other side of the road.

Working away the Spring Hare pushed the large snowball passed where they were waiting. Jack had moved sending some frost crackling, and caused the Pooka to stop ears standing straight up attempting to pinpoint the sound. Her gaze narrowed slightly attempting to figure out what made the sound. A bird landed behind her causing her to leap up several feet in the air and land facing the bird weapon drawn.

The Pooka relaxed chuckling softly at herself, speaking softly to the little creature in a warm tone. The bird soon flew off due to the yeti stepping up behind the Pooka who's ears once again shot straight up facing behind them. She clearly knew they were there but waited to see what would happen. Bunny slowly approached from behind as well, before the spring hare took off down the street.

Bunny of course made chase surprised by just how quick the other rabbit was, glancing to his right Jack was following after them along rooftops. The chase didn't take long because the female Pooka crouched down for a leap and sprang straight up onto a building, scrambling the rest of the way up onto the roof. Bunny skidded to a stop and watching her surprise before she took off along the rooftops, damn that was kind of a difficult jump, he was a little surprised she made it with little of struggle.

Glancing at Jack, Aster huffed at the comment the young guardian made about why he didn't jump around like that. Shaking his head Aster went back to his search, and maybe 10 or so minutes later the hare was found and... Well... clocked out next to a large dent in a car. Bunny cringed a little at the sight of the Pooka half inside of North's bag legs splayed over the snowy ground.Ouch.

Gathering the hare the rest of the way into the bag everyone quickly left to head back to North's workshop. Entering the warm building again Bunny glanced at the bag holding the other Pooka with concern.

"Come on then! Let's see the newest guardian!" North said happily clapping his hands together

The yetis did as told and opened the bag and tipping it upside down out flopped the limp hare.

Ouch.
