How long had it been?
Days? Weeks? Months? Years even?
It was difficult to tell when everything around you was nothing but grey and still. Its not as if the world was flat nothing completely; every now and then you could run across a grey little flower or a birdBut they would never move, never make sounds, never grow, never die. Still forever
Like stone.
This was Bill Cipher's new world, his kingdom, his prison. Bill would wander the grey world and think to himself often, looking for a sign of something new. He'd pick rock hard grass and watch it vanish, stare at unmoving birds in the sky. One time he had even found a deer but couldn't open its unmoving mouth to have a small reminder of what he once was.
This world was torture, it reminded him so much of the mindscape yet so little at the same time; as if mocking what he once had. Truly a cruel punishment for his crimes.
But one day, something changed! And at first Bill was ecstatic, until it soon turned to horror.
While walking his prison for the, well the number didn't really matter, he stumbled upon something unique. A small splash of black caught his eye in the grey depression, and he ran on small black noodle like legs to it. He had grown use to no longer floating, at first it had angered him, then left him hopeless, before he simple accepted it.
He came to a slow halt, one big eye staring down at the tiniest thing. A little, black void, in the shape of a flower. It didn't move like he had hoped but it was definitely new!
And so he knelt down with slight difficulty, another thing he had learned to cope with, to get a closer look."Oh wow... I mean it's not that impressive but I-... I..." He started, then stopped with a trembling stutter.
Something about the void, about the endless black, the blackness so dark that it seemed almost like a hole; started to make the great Bill Cipher tremble. It felt.... Wrong. Horrific. Skincrawling and.... Inevitable...
"Oh... Oh fuck.. No. No, no, nono nononono!!! NO!!" He chanted before screaming, shooting up and backing away. This wasn't something new to gawk at in awe and happiness. This was not a potential way out, well, for some it was.
Bill pulled at his eyes lower lid, frantically searching around to make sure there weren't any more little tiny voids appearing. "Oh fuck, this is it! I'm finally done for! I'm screwed!! I! I!"
Bill let out a screech into the grey sky, taking his hat and slamming it into the ground "This was your plan all along huh?! You big stupid pink jackass!! To lie to me then slowly let me die in a prison worse than hell?! God damned aquatic MONSTER!!"Really it was ironic, to call a god a monster, when Bill had hurt so many for his own gain. Clearly it had come back to bite him.
"Okay... Okay calm down Billy, think of something! You're all seeing, a genius! You're a! A.... A..." He sighed, looking down at his little black hands. Look at me... How can I call myself a god... He thought with a tear welling up in his single eye.
This was ridiculous, the great Bill Cipher brought down by something as silly as death, he had witnessed it before, he had-
Bill shook himself "No time for pitying the past! I-I need to get out, Im done accepting this bullshit!" With renewed determination, he needed a way out.
In the grossest, most pathetic way possible...
Crying out for help.
But how?
Bill couldn't fly or escape much at all on his own, and he had yet to try but maybe, just maybe.
"Hmmm" he hummed in thought, walking away from the void flower and finding a spot to sit down, little black legs crossed.
If he could find someone, anyone, out there who was connected enough to him, he could maybe put cries for help in their mind.
"They'll either help me, or go to a mental hospital for schizophrenia.... One of the two." And with a deep breath, Bill slowly closed his eye and concentrated. "Okay Ford old pal, you're the only one I can think of! You better be alive!... or at least not too stubborn.." He mumbled the last part to himself in despair and clasped his little hands together. This might kill him on its own, but he had to try!
Sadly for Bill, Ford had long passed on a few years ago, reaching his age and went away in peace surrounded by loved ones, off to meet his brother.
There was one however, who still thought of Bill enough for this to work.
Hopefully he'd be willing to help
