"Ugh..." Dipper hissed in pain, gently grabbing at his head as he went to open his eyes with great difficulty, but dear god it was bright. When had he opened his blinds?

And man, what a weird... Night... Mare

Quickly and painfully Dipper sat up in a panic, glancing around where he sat. Firstly, he was on the floor, so clearly something happened, secondly, he was naked and covered in glass.

"The hell?" Very carefully he got up, discarding his blanket and slowly making his way to the closet.

After getting dressed and cleaning up the glass Dipper stood and stared at the empty frame of the once mirror, arms crossed in a defensive pose. This was weird, even for him. Sure, he had night terrors, sleep walked a few times, but never had he actually caused harm while doing so.

"Well, this is new" he said, a nervous shiver running down his spine. The longer he stared at the mirror, the more uneasy he felt, and so he left his room and thought he should make a cup of coffee. His head was killing him

But as he got to the kitchen something odd happened, it felt as if though something moved... In his head.
And it definitely didn't help with the headache

"Ow... U-um.." Scared out of his mind Dipper cautiously leaned against the kitchen counter, deer in the headlights eyes staring down at his bare feet. Hesitantly he felt around his scalp, at the best he was just tired, at the worst-

"I-I swear if I have one of those horrifying skin flies I've heard about.." Dipper quietly said to himself.
Honestly after the nightmare he had, he wouldn't be surprised if he had one and it made him sick. But as he searched his hair, he found nothing. No bumps, no holes, no scabs. Somehow it was even worse than finding something at all.

"H-hello?"

"AAAHH!!" Dipper screamed and jumped, flailing around to find the voice "Not again!! Am I still dreaming?! I-I have to be!" So it wasn't a dream, and somehow that was much MUCH worse than an egg laying fly stuck in his head.

"Where the hell are you? I asked for help! Not someone to hear scream all day! "

Who in the-
And then it hit him, his nightmare the other night had-

"Bill! Where the hell are you?! What are you doing! I thought you were... Well dead!!" Dipper yelled into the empty kitchen, still looking around for some kind of physical being for Bill to be talking from. Then he heard a scoff and an honestly pretty pitiful sounding chuckle

"Im not dead kid.... Well, yet. As for where, I think I'm still in Gravity Falls which is kinda bullshit cause I was supposed to inhabit your mind! Guess I couldn't get myself out after all.."

"Woah woah woah. Wait-" Dipper pulled himself up to sit on the counter, staring at his hands intensely "So, you're not dead, and you're still in Gravity Falls? Then how the hell are you talking to me? Also WHY!"  That last part Dipper let out as a growl, knowing that Bill wasn't dead kinda ruined years of therapy for him in the matter of a few seconds.

"Beats me kid, I guess I kinda connected to you but not enough to leave this stone prison."

Bill sounded almost sad, but that didn't matter!

"No! I don't care!! Leave my brain RIGHT NOW!"

"Sorry Pinetree, can't! We made a deal~"
"What no we-" and suddenly the other night hit Dipper like a ton of bricks. Oh god, they did... "Th-that doesn't count!!" Dipper yelled, pulling at his hair

" I mean, considering the fact that Im here, it does!!"

Dipper didn't know what to do, a headache seemed like a dying wish at this point. Was he stuck with a demon in his head now? Would Bill torment him? Would he torture Dipper till he killed himself? Was this some sort of revenge?!

"Woah kid calm down, your thoughts are so loud even Im starting to hear them from here. Im not gonna do any of that, I just need help"

Dipper stopped mid step, not realizing he had gotten off the counter and started to pace. "Help? Help?! You expect me to help you?! YOU OF ALL PEOPLE! Hell not even a person!! You're a monster! And you want help?!" Dipper couldn't help it, he laughed, he laughed long and hard, so hard that tears pricked his eyes.

Never before had Bill felt so.... Uneasy. Here he was, at death's door, and the only person he could talk to was laughing at the thought of helping him. This really wasn't good, he needed to get Dipper to agree, he'd be dead otherwise.

"H-hey Pinetree, um let's start over. Last night was, and now too, is well, not going to good. So how abo-"

"Oh shut the fuck up Bill!" Dipper cut him off aggressively, unknowing to Dipper, the great Bill Cipher flinched in fear. "How about what, huh?! We start over?! Hell no! You're the worst! You're a monster and an asshole! A psycho!-"

"Now that's a loaded word Dip-"

"I don't care!! You tortured me! Mt family!! So why in the world should I help you!?" Dipper was boiling at this point, rage clouding his emotions. The audacity of this, this creature! To ask him for help after everything he did! It was laughable.

Bill on the other hand, was trembling. Back in his little world, staring off into the distance at that void of a mocking flower, unable to grasp the knowledge of death. Bill for the first time felt true fear and... Shame.

"Because..." He started off gently, hoping to whatever cruel gods might exist that he wouldn't have to go so low as beg for his own fuckin life.

"- Im scared Dipper, I don't know what's coming next for me. That's why... I need your help..."

Dipper's rage instantly melted away, now filled with shock. The Bill Dipper knew, the demon that haunted his childhood, would never admit to being... afraid. Something about it rattled Dipper to his core, his very bones shook. Suddenly he felt guilty, he thinks he shouldn't, but he couldn't help it after hearing what Bill had to say

"I.... that's still not a reason to trust you." He mumbled, arms crossed with his biceps in a death grip.

He could hear Bill sigh

"I know, you don't need to trust me. Hell, help me then imprison me somewhere else! I don't care!! I just... I'd rather live in isolation than truly die Dipper..."

So many thoughts were welling up in Dipper's mind, he couldn't just set Bill free! If he even could. Would it even be worth making sure Bill was locked away for good? Why not just let him die? Would... If Dipper just let him die would that make him a murderer, knowing that he could have done something but didn't? Do demons even deserve a second chance?

With a heavy sigh Dipper shook his head, feet made of led dragging to the living room, no longer able to stomach coffee.
"If I save you, and that's IF! What would I even get out of it? Wouldn't you just cause trouble again?"

Bill had to come up with something, and quick! Dipper had took the bait and now Bill couldn't watch him scurry away, he needed him to stay!

"Whatever you want! S-study me! Re imprison me after helping me and I'll let you study me!! I don't have much magic so it won't be hard! A-and Im not lying either kid!! We'll make it a deal too!"  Please oh please, take it. Bill couldn't risk Dipper turning away

Dipper thought about it long and hard, so long Bill began to worry that he made a mistake and was doomed. Until Dipper finally let out a huff as he sat on the couch

"Fine, I'll help you on two conditions!!"

Yes!! Bill was saved. Bill swore he nearly broke down in tears, how pathetic of a demon to be so overjoyed by a human.

"Anything!"

"One, I get to study you and learn about magic and demon stuff, where you came from, how your powers work. All those kinds of things, and two, you can't hurt anyone! Or I'll leave you in Gravity Falls! Got it?" Dipper said, staring at the wall ahead of him, swearing he could almost see Bill siting in front of him.

Bill wiped at his eye, tiny black arms trembling with relief.

"Deal! Its a deal Pinetree! Th-thank ...you" Bill was embarrassed to say it out loud, but he truly was thankful.

Dipper on the other hand was already exhausted. He needed a nap, hopefully Bill wasn't on a time crunch.
