It was a rather quiet and peaceful day today, but it really just felt off, though I try to not let that interrupt my beautiful morning. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed Steven and The Crystal Gems running up the hill nearby with the tall lighthouse. I smile, going over to give them a visit on this shiny day. When I approach, Steven takes acknowledgment of me, "Oh hey! Y/n! How's it goin'!" I give him a simple smile at his question.

"Heyo buddy!" Amethyst shouts, wrapping an arm around me, laughing while settling on the soft grass. I let out a soft squeak sound as I hit the ground with Amethyst. I lie next to Steven, whose holding a pretty yellow flower, "I wish everything could stay like this and never change," Steven speaks as Pearl and Amethyst agreed and I gave a soft nod, "How's the future look, Garnet? Does everything stay this way?" Steven asks as Garnet adjusts her star visors, before shooting upwards, letting out a, "No!"

Just after she said that a dark shadow casts above, causing everybody to look at what caused it. What I can tell so far that it looks like some kind of syringe with pink fluid inside it.

Looks bad.

Probably is.

A sudden shadowy figure shows itself at the tippy-top of the machine, creating a horn out of... Something? I couldn't see what it was, "Hey!" The figure shouts down at us, "Are you Steven Universe?" The feminine voice asks, a clear tone of something lies in it. Steven looks nervously at the gems and I, then shrugs, "Uhm, yes?"

Wrong move, buddy.

"Perfect..." The voice says, a big hint of evil in it. I look at Steven as he looks at me and I give him a dead panned expression. A sudden deep horn sound fills my ears and causes the ground to shake. The weird machine turns towards our position on the hill, a drill coming from the bottom and three claw like legs emerge from the sides. The machine juts itself into the earth's crust as Garnet gets me and Amethyst away just in time.

The strange machine shoots the strange liquid into the ground at a very slow pace, "Nice park job, Dingus!" Amethyst yells as the figure from before jumps down to a slight round platform that goes around the machine. The figure reveals to be a pink cartoonish gem with magenta eyes and spikey pigtail styled hair. Somehow I found her oddly attractive...?

"Well! Well! Well! Lemme get a look at the menagerie!" The gem says as her eye stretches long, almost like a telescope but much smoother, observing us. It's disturbing, yet oddly cool.

Her gaze fixes upon Amethyst, "You must be Amethyst!" Then Garnet, "You must be Garnet!" Then her gaze on pearl turns into one of anger, "...And Pink Diamond's Pearl! She took you with her!" She groans of frustration, "Isn't that just... SWELL?!" Finally her gaze lands onto me as I slightly hide behind Garnet, I didn't have my sword with me today, "Well, who's this cute little human?" She speaks in a tone that makes my heart flutter, but her evil grin says something else.

Pearl suddenly spoke, "It can't be.."
The pink gem laughs, "Oh! Hoho! But it can be! And it is! I've got a new style!" She says, running her gloved hand through her spiked pigtails. "I've got some brand new toys!" She shouts, slamming her hand on the glass of the machine. "That will end your 'happily ever after' once and for all!!!" This gem seems incredibly angry as Steven tries to approach the machine, "Woah, woah, this must be an misunderstanding, if you haven't heard I've established peace across the uni-"
