When we're young, we're taught the distinction between a hero and a villain, good and evil, a savior and a lost cause... But what if the only real difference is just who's telling the story?

My name is Hope Mikaelson. I come from a long line of the villains in the tales you've heard about vampires, werewolves, witches, and everything in between. The school behind these gates protects the secrets of people like me. And tonight, under the light of the full moon, we will be opening our doors to someone new.

"Noah, seriously, it's not right," Landon looks up at Noah.

"It is what it is, Landon," he shrugs his shoulders.

"You're not catholic... you shouldn't have to confess your sins,"

"I tossed a lawnmower through the patio doors..." Noah says as they continue to walk. "If apologizing to God gets Hector and Maria off my back, so be it,"

They enter the church walking towards the Pastor.

"Buenas tardes, Father Pietro," Noah greets the pastor.
"Buenas tardes, Noah," he greets back. "Por favor, pray with me,"

"Landon, you can leave now. It's okay, we can take it from here," Hector states.

"I'm good, Hector," Landon says as Noah kneels down.

"Landon, this is between your foster brother and God, okay?" Maria comes close to Landon.

"Hey, I got it bro," Noah looks back at Landon. "Just wait outside,"

Landon looks at Noah with worry, but still goes towards the door.

Landon walks out putting his ear buds in and sitting down to wait for his foster brother. Hector locks the doors, while Father Pietro and Noah get ready to pray.

As Father Pietro begins to pray and say nonsense as Noah thought he begins to worry. "What's going on?" He tries to get out, but can't as his foster parents hold onto him while he screams. His bones begin to break, putting him in agony and his eyes turn yellow.

A van shows up in front of Landon, a young girl and a middle aged man get out of it. The girl makes her way to the door stopping at Landon. "Landon?" The girl speaks. "Hope?" He asks back.

"You two know each other?" The man asks. "Long story," Hope answers.

They hear a scream along with a shatter.
