"Wren, I need your help," Hope walks up to her sister.
"With?" Wrens asks.
"We need help from Josie, to find Landon."
"Um okay?..."
"I need you to talk to her."
"Why me? Why can't you?"
"Because she likes you for some odd reason."
"Okay whatever," Wren gets up as she rolls her eyes.
They two girls head to Josie and Lizzie's room, thank God only Josie was there.
"Hey we need your help," Hope says as they walk in.
"Three more words to me than your annual average. Find someone else," Josie answers Hope.
Hope looks over at Wren, "this stuff with Landon is my fault. I can fix it. I know how to track him, but it invokes dark magic," Hope walks towards Josie.
"Well, we're not allowed to use dark magic here, so..."
"Who says the girl who just lit her ex on fire."
Wren looks at Hope with disgust, "Hope what the hell!"
"Are you blackmailing me?" Josie asks, looking at Wren then back to Hope.
"No. No, I'm just looking for a kindred spirit in revenge."
"Fine." Josie gets up and grabs what she needs.
They sit down, Hope opens the spell book and Josie gets the spell ready. While Wren sits and watches.
Hope kills a rat and sprinkles the blood over the paper while Josie does the same but with herbs.
"Are you sure about this?" Josie asks.
"Absolutely," Hope nods in agreement.
"Um you guys will do great. I believe in you!" Wren cheers with sarcasm.
"Inveniet hostium et tenebrae," Hope and Josie repeat 3 times.
"Do you see anything?" Josie asks.
"Just flashes," Hope answers. "Come on, give me something."
Josie then sees a road sign that says South 29. "I got it. Route 29."
"Near the state line."
The vision keeps going, Landon pulls out the glowing knife. "Is that the knife?" Josie asks.
"Yeah..."
"What's it doing?"
"I have no idea."
The knife glows harsher than the vision goes black.
