Gregory ran, his legs pumping trying to escape the scorching flames, Freddy right behind him. Neither of them dared to look back. Soon there was a loud crash behind them and a dust cloud engulfed the two, leaving Gregory coughing, and squinting to see. When the dust cleared, the air settled, and he finally stopped coughing, Gregory shouted into the darkness. "Freddy! Is the elevator still working?!" He heard clunking going off into the direction of the elevator as Freddy's bright eyes illuminated it. "It appears to be unharmed, but I'm still trying to process what happened." Freddy replied back. "You can process it once we get out of here!" Gregory frantically said as he ran to the elevator, anxious that something would come crawling out of the rubble. The elevator opened, and he and Freddy hurriedly rushed inside, as Gregory hit the up button. Gregory held his breath as he heard the sound of the old pizzeria collapsing below them, desperately hoping the elevator wouldn't break down. But soon there was a ding, and the doors opened up back to the area behind Roxy's raceway.

Both Freddy and Gregory got out of the elevator, Gregory sighing with relief, and breathing heavily. "We made it?" Freddy asked, finding it hard to believe they made it out, having no clue how to piece together everything that had just happened. Slowly, a smile began forming on Gregory's face. "We made it!" Freddy exclaimed excitedly. "I knew you could do it supers-!" He was quickly cut off as Gregory practically lunged at him, wrapping his arms around Freddy's metal legs in a hug. Freddy was caught off guard by the gesture for a moment. He had never expected Gregory to show him such a degree of trust. But he gladly excepted, picking up Gregory to give him a real hug. They both laughed, hardly able to believe they were both even still alive.

When they had gone down into the old Pizzaria, there had been an odd guy in a really run down bunny suit trying to hack Freddy, and in Gregory's attempt to deter him, the entire old pizzaria had begun to burn down and collapse. Neither of them had even half a clue what all that was about. Even Freddy didn't know a decent amount of what had been going on.

"I was expecting to find answers down there, but now I just have more questions." Gregory stressed  as Freddy carefully set him down. "Who were they Freddy?" He  asked, a bit curiously, but in a more urgent tone. Freddy tilted his head, trying to think. He swore he could vaguely remember some of them. That mass of tangled, burned wires... Somehow he felt he knew it. He shook his head, not sure he wanted to know. "I'm not sure..." He admitted. "But you referred to something down there as your friends?" Gregory questioned. Freddy thought for a minute, confused to realize he did say that. For some reason, he couldn't quite remember why. He felt different down there. He wasn't sure if it was a good different or a bad different. "I do not remember why, Gregory... perhaps something happened to my system down there."

Gregory rolled his eyes. "Good grief, you animatronics make no sense." Freddy as per usual, didn't register the sarcasm, replying; "Perhaps you should read the Fazbear Entertainment Animatronic Manual-" "Freddy! That's not what I meant." Gregory interrupted. "Oh. Alright then." Freddy replied, dropping the subject. Gregory sighed in response. "I still don't get it. How does Vanny tie into this?" Freddy pondered it for a moment. There really was no way of knowing with the information the had currently. But there were always ways to find more. "Perhaps we should find out?"

When Gregory and Freddy wandered through the Pizzaplex and into Freddy's room to regroup, they began talking, trying to figure out their next move. "So... Vanny's hideout is locked..." Gregory contemplated out loud, attempting to ignore the rather loud sound of Freddy's nervous pacing while he sat on the pillow covered couch. "Yes, and I do not think a security pass can get you in there." Freddy confirmed. "What if we took off her mask? Then we could skip all those other steps and just figure out who's been taking all those kids!" Gregory offered, although Freddy immediately seemed to panic, ceasing his pacing. "Gregory! That is far too dangerous! Even if you managed to get close enough, who knows what she would do to you?!" Freddy questioned, shuffling from one foot to the other. Gregory was quick to reassure him. "Alright, alright! Calm down, I didn't plan on doing it anyway..." He looked around the small room, taking in the reality of the situation. "So... we're stuck." Gregory pointed out.
