It had been five days. It was now the morning they opened up again. Buddy had been nearly completed and all that was left to do was a bit of paint, and testing.

With the Pizzaplex open once again, everyone was anxious. At least almost everyone. Even Gregory and Vanessa, who didn't have to preform felt an underlying anxiety and pressure. In the end, if Gregory was wrong, and he couldn't do a thing with Buddy, that was it. He wouldn't get another chance.

His Fazwatch still worked, but he hadn't attempted to speak to Freddy, and now that is was five minutes away from opening, Roxy, Chica, and Monty were all worried since they hadn't heard anything from Freddy. They stood in front of their rooms, waiting anxiously.

Eventually, Freddy came out. Though he looked possibly even more anxious than the others. Chica, who had jumped at every opportunity to speak lately after losing her voice, jumped at the opportunity once again. "Are you ok Freddy?"

Freddy just nodded, not taking his eyes off the doors. He wasn't sure how to feel about this, but he found himself afraid. He wasn't entirely sure why, since he had never felt fear or anxiety before opening time before. But now, it was different.

Gregory of course, was watching, leaning against the wall. They all seemed to let out a breath when the opening time came and families rushed in, despite not needing to breathe, being animatronics and a ghost.

Many kids rushed to the animatronics first, Roxy seemed to be attracting attention from a lot of kids right off the bat, doing "cool" poses, and saying hi. Monty rolled his eyes. "Show off." Monty said quietly under his breath, so Roxy couldn't hear.

Whenever a kid approached Freddy, he'd usually just smile nervously and wave. Unlike the others, he didn't really try and say anything. Roxy, looking above the crowd of kids seemed to notice, getting an idea.

She leaned down in front of a little girl holding a plush of her, with a wolf ears headband. "Hey, you see my friend over there?" She said quietly, pointing to Freddy. The girl nodded in response, and Roxy continued. "He's been feeling a little down lately. Can you do me a favor and ask him for a big ol' bear hug?"

The kid nodded enthusiastically, replying; "Ok Roxanne!" Before running over to Freddy, she smiled up at him, barely reaching even a third of his height. "Can I hug you?" She asked excitedly as Freddy noticed her. Freddy seemed nervous, but was quick to respond. "Oh! Of course."

He kneeled down to reach their height, wrapping his arms around them, and feeling their tiny arms (try to) wrap around him. He hugged them, although carefully, so he didn't accidentally hurt the small child. When he eventually let go, and stood back up, the child was beaming at him happily.

He gave them a smile, a bit less nervous. "What's your name little one?" He asked them. "Clara!" They responded with a big grin. Although their conversation was interrupted by many other kids. "I wanna hug!" A few said excitedly. Freddy let out a small chuckle, feeling a bit better.

Watching Freddy preoccupied with the kids, Gregory smiled. He was glad to see Freddy feeling better. "Thanks Roxy and Clara..." He said, despite knowing no one would hear. He sighed, watching all the children having fun. He couldn't help missing those years ago when he was like that too. Before losing his home.

The day went on normally after that. During showtime it was hard for Freddy to be as enthusiastic as he usually was, but he was able to follow normal showtime procedure, and the others were ready to cover for him.
