𝓮ven though sekani wasn't biologically star's brother, she always took care of him and simone. star and simone's mother was with sekani's father. they had simone and then he left leaving sekani with his sister's. in his mind mary was his mother, that was the only women he knew.
"star is mommy okay? she isn't moving." little sekani said to star.
"yea kani, she's just sleeping." said a young star. she had tears in her eyes and sekani didn't know why. after that, all sekani could remember was people coming to take his mother away. with a lady hugging him, star, and simone tight.
"ma'am we have to place the children under foster care, there are no records of anyone being listed as their legal guardian." says another lady in a pantsuit.
to sekani she was pretty, he loved the way she smelled.
"listen y'all i promise i'm going to find y'all, please always stay together. look out for one another. i'll have y'all soon, okay?" says the lady hugging them.
