"𝓼ekani you better get your useless ass in here NOW!" say's sekani's foster father james. sekani was in his room doing drugs.
you would think somebody who's mother died from a overdose, would stay away from drugs. rolling his eyes sekani got up stumbling to walk to his bedroom door, opening it.
"oh my god what is it?" sekani says throwing his head back. "you better watch that fucking tone with me before i punish your ungrateful ass." says james.
sekani shook at the word punish, being that he's been mentally and sexually abuse majority of his life. but this man here? uses sexual abuse as punishment.
"james what is it seriously? i'm not in the mood." says sekani. "i don't give a damn if you're in the mood or not." james says slightly raising his voice. sighing sekani just gave in because it was getting pointless.
feeling a punch to his face he knew this wasn't going to end well. 'mann he just blew my high' he thought. "get your ass up, since you want to be a man and get smart!" yelled james.
struggling to stand up sekani felt another blow to the face. he learned to stop fighting back a long time ago, it only made the situation worse.
his vision was going in and out, before he blacked out he could feel james taking his pants off.

"OH MY GOD SEKANI WAKE UP!" was all sekani heard. he couldn't exactly make out the voice, but it sounded.. familiar.
"star?" he asked, voice hoarse and body sore from the occurrence earlier. "yeah baby bro it's me, look at me." star says. his vision started to come back, and he seen his blonde headed sister.
"let me help you up baby, you're okay." star says. she tries to help him up but sekani's legs were weak. he knew why and star knew why to. "grab your stuff we're leaving kani" she say's calling him the nickname she gave him since they were little.
getting up finally he slowly walked to his bedroom and packed his bags. putting on some sweatpants, a hoodie, and a jean jacket. grabbing his bags they walked out of the house to a red car.
feeling someone hug him he instantly knew it was his baby sister. "hey bubs." simone says with a smile. he smiled hearing that nickname for the first time in years. "hey biggs" he said smiling a genuine smile for the first time in a while.

"kani how long has he been doing that to you?" he heard star ask him. he didn't say anything, he just kept looking out the window. "you still sing?" she asked him. "yea, i still sing. you still sing?" he asked.
