"Athena? Athena, baby. Egeiró..."

"Athena?"

"Wake up or I'll ---"

Mom wasn't able to finish her sentence because I immediately stopped her. I know what she's going to say. If I didn't get up, she'll get everything I badly need for my life. Credit card, phone, even my connection with my boyfriend.

Speaking of boyfriend. Enrique.... God, I missed him.

I got up from my bed as I scroll my messages.

From: Enrique

Hi babe. Have you packed your things already?

Received 10:45pm

My eyes widen while I'm trying to remember everything. I went to my friend's house last night for my farewell party, blah blah blah, they dared me to drink a bottle of wine, I got tipsy and... Oh shoot!

Good morning, babe! Already prepared everything for your come back. Will pick you up at the airport, okay? Take care. I love you. See you in 15 hours and 35 minutes! Hahaha.

I'm up! Sorry I wasn't able to text you last night. I went to Kara's house cause they asked me to have a farewell party since I'm going back to Manila na today. I'll see you too in a few hours! I love you!

I ran out of my room and went on the kitchen only to found out that they've already packed their things and ready to go. What the.

"He. Hehehe." What? I'm tryna be cool here.

"Aren't you aware that your flight will be in one hour?" Mom. Uh-oh. This is the first time she spoke to me with that tune. I-spoiled na raw kasi nila ako sa lahat, wag lang ako malate. That's the number one rule ni mama. You. Shouldn't. Be. Late.

"I just enjoyed my farewell party last night that's why. You know, it's going to be a year before I come back here again. I'm going to missed them."

"Oh siya. Kumain ka na ng breakfast and have a quick shower. Okay, my queen?" Dad. My mom isn't really a fan of fairytales kasi. Kesyo corny, hindi totoo. Lalalala. Ayaw na ayaw niya na tinatawag siya ni Papa ng queen, kaya ako na lang raw since I'm really into fairytales. Bleh.

After 'kong kumain, tumakbo na ulit ako paakyat ng room ko. Ang hilig ko nang tumakbo, pwede na 'ko maging runner nito.

I did my morning rituals and I ended up wearing a white lace crop top, plain fuchsia jeans and my pink valentino. Keeping it classy, elegant and descent.

Soon as we got to the airport, I immediately texted Enrique na,

To: Enrique

Boarding in thirty minutes. Ugh, gusto ko nang umuwi jan kaso I'll be staying sa airplane ng 15 hours and 35 minutes -- stop overs aren't counted but God! Jetlag!

Sent 9:59am

From: Enrique

Hahaha. Chill. Do it for me, baby.

I just kept on texting him na ayoko nang sumakay ng gano'ng katagal sa airplane. Eto naman, asar lang ng asar na kapag hindi raw ako umuwi ngayon, mang chi-chicks daw siya. Ha. Subukan lang niya or else I will literally kick his balls as soon as I stepped out of the plane.

After 100000 years, hello Manila! I saw Enrique sitting on the waiting area so I started running towards him as quiet as possible. I want to surprise him since we didn't see each other for a month because we had our vacay sa Greece.

"Pik-a-boo!" I shouted near his ear while hugging him on his neck. I placed my chin on the top of his head and started humming our theme song.

Napatayo siya sa gulat and he hugged me forthwith. "God, I missed you. Sooooo much!"

"I missed you even more." I said. I leaned my head closer to his chest so I can hear his heartbreat.

One guy caught my attention. A guy wearing an all black outfit. Lol, seriously? Galing ba sa lamay 'to? Ang sama ng tingin niya sa akin at kay Enrique, just imagine a face of being silly. I rolled my eyes at him at binaling yung attention kay Enrique.

"Let's go?" He said as we let go of each other's hug.

"Let's go sago!" I said. Napansin ko na parang may hinahanap siya sa likuran ko kaya ako na ang sumagot.

"Nauna na sila mama and papa sa isang kotse. I told them earlier na susunduin mo ko, so instead of hopping in with them, sayo na lang raw ako sumabay. So... Let's go? I'm hungry." Sabi ko habang ngumuso.

"Stop pouting or else I'll kiss you."

"Pervert!!!"

He chuckled. How adorable can he even get?!
