After Bella's truck was out of sight Billy ushered us inside where he proceeded to tell us that Jacob wanted him to ask me and the pack if it was okay for him to recover at my place not wanting Bella to barge in or kiss him again. I want to say yes but i am worried about Carlisle if he comes to my place Edward will know where i live and will probably tell Bella who will end up barging her way in. Billy soon made my worrys disappear saying the Carlisle will to stick to doctor and patient confidentiality and will not let Edward find out where i live. When we finished talking about it Paul and Jared started packing Jacob a bag while the rest of the pack got ready to carry Jacob to his truck and drive him to my cabin and well Billy phones Carlisle to inform him of the change in Jacob's whereabouts.
It didn't take long for everyone to arrive at my cabin there was no problems getting here at all except the occasional grunt of pain from Jacob but everything else went fine. When we all went inside Sam lit the fire in the livingroom for me because according to him it's to cold in my cabin for a human like me. The pack lay Jacob down on the couch in my livingroom and i put a documentary on for him about cars and the rest of us sit around doing our own thing. Everything goes quiet when we hear a knock on the door Paul goes to see who it is while Jacob growls and pulls me to him making me fall on top of him luckily i put my hands on his shoulders to stop myself from falling onto his ribs thank god.
"River doc is here, you need to get off your lover boy" Paul said but Jacob just tightened his hold on me
"JJ it's okay as soon as he is finished checking you i will come and snuggle" I said then kissed his cheek
"Promise" He whispers locking his eyes with mine
"Promise babe" I said with a smile
"Urgh fine" He grumbles pouting a little
He reluctantly let's me go with a cute pout i peck him on the lips while getting of him which makes his pout again just as Carlisle steps into the room. Seth and Leah move to stand either side of me growling lowly i know their animal instincts are coming forward to protect me. I quickly grab their hands and squeeze them silently telling them i'm fine and to cut it out i feel them squeeze my hand back but not too hard. Carlisle stands next to Paul who is watching Carlisle's every move incase he tries something.
