- Chapter 13: You've Got To Be Kidding Me -

- River's Pov -

I wake up to the sun shining in my eyes, which makes me groan and roll over only to come face to face with a still fast asleep Jacob. I kiss his cheek as carefully as i can, not wanting to wake him up then i climb out of bed and have a shower. Once i finish in the shower i get dressed and do my hair (Outfit above) then when my hair is done i quietly head downstairs not wanting to wake Jacob up he looked peaceful. When i walk into the kitchen i see papa sat at the kitchen island looking at mum concerned, i look over and see that she is cooking but not just enough for us she is cooking enough for a god damn army. I remember her doing this when i was little she would always cook when something was on her mind she uses cooking as a distraction. I go over and sit next to papa, he wraps a arm around my shoulder pulling me to his side hugging me i lean into him and rest my head on his chest.

"What's wrong with mum?" I asked quietly

"Nothing for you to worry about sweetheart could you do your ol'dad a favour?" He asked quietly

"Anything for you papa you know that" I said smiling

"I brought a second hand car yesterday and it's making some worrying noises could you take a look for me?" He asked almost pleaded

"Yeah sure i will find the issue and probably fix it" I said happily

"Here take this and eat it in the garage" He said handing me a bowl of oatmeal with chopped fruit

"Are you sure mum's okay" I asked worriedly

"Yes now shoo" He said pushing me towards the garage

I kiss his cheek and look over at mum who is still cooking not even realising i am here or that i have been talking to dad. I sigh and go straight to the garage where i eat my breakfast then put on my overalls not wanting to get oil or grease on my clothes. When i have ny overalls on i look at dad's car finding the problem didn't take and it was quick to fix it. Once i finished i got in and drove it around La Push making sure it ran smoothly after knowing it ran okay i drove home and parked it back up in the garage. I went back inside the house into the livingroom where i find dad sat with mum cuddled up to him, mum sees me in my overalls which are now covered in oil and grease her eyes go wide while papa just looks at me with a proud smile.

"All done i fixed the problem and took it out for a test drive it's running smoothly now" I said grinning

"Really that quick?" Papa asked proudly

"Yep it was just a simple quick fix luckly i had the part laying around" I said shrugging my shoulders

"Honey can you change of those messy clothes then we can talk, your going to get oil and grease everywhere" Mum asked looking at my overalls in disgust

"Oh erm sure" I said nervously at the thought of what this talk will be about

I just took the overalls of there and then making mum roll her eyes at me then i ran to the laundry room and put my overalls in the wash and rushed back to the livingroom. This time Jacob is there with mum and papa, he is sat on the couch opposite side of them eating a bowl of oatmeal. When he sees me he puts the bowl down and opens his arms for me i walk over and sit down next to him only for him to pull me on to his lap so my back is against his chest with his arms around me.

"We have to tell you something sweetheart and i know for sure your not going to like it" Papa said looking serious

"This doesn't sound good at all" I said and started fiddling with Jacob's finger's

"Bella didn't get jail time due to the lack of evidence she just got a restraining order against us four, Billy and the pack, we have a plan to put her in her place once and for all" Mum blurted out

"Are you fucking kidding me! She has done nothing but cause trouble she hurt the people i see as family and she just basically gets away with a slap on her wrist! " I snap out in anger and feel the ground start shaking and rocks start levitating Jacob spins me around so i am straddling him and holds my head in the crook of his neck making me inhale his scent.

"I know your angry babe but mum and pop's have a plan hear them out" Jacob says softly

"Y-you just called my parent's mum and pop's" I mumble into his neck in shock

"Well they are going to be my parent's in law in the future might aswell get used to it now" He said amused

"What's the plan then Mum? Papa?" I asked laying my head on Jacob's so i can see my parent's

"Our friends are coming" Papa said simply

"They will come and meet with us hopefully take our side and deal with Bella's bratty ass" Mum said spitting out Bella's name like it's poison

"Are you calm now babe?" Jacob asked softly

"Kinda i still wanna kill the bitch after everything done, she has kissed you multiple times without your consent and has hurt Billy more then once, no-one and i mean no-one hurts Billy" I said feeling angry again

"She will get what she deserves" He said and started to run his finger's through my hair

"I hope so i just want this all over so we can start our lives together" I said with a sigh

"You will sweetheart i will make sure of it" Papa said honestly

Mum put a film on then cuddled up with papa again on one couch while me and Jacob snuggled together on the other couch. i am enjoying the first bit of relaxation i have had in god knows how long i hope it lasts because i don't know how much more drama i can take. It's getting to much for me to handle, i feel like i am going to explode at any moment and for a elemental that isn't a good thing to happen.
