"Cus What I want want want is whachya want want want, Give it to me baby like boom boom boom,"-Rihanna, 'Rude Boy.'
Tori's POV:
I could hear my black heels click on the floor as I walked over to chase. Edger and Harold had let him go and he was sitting handcuffed on the floor waiting for the so called 'Backup' they told him they called for.
I had on black pumps and my black tights on with a huge black trench coat over my normal t-shirt that I was wearing earlier the only difference was that Miley made me wear heels and these black sunglasses that had a camera in it with a blond wig over my brown hair and a black Beanie.
I sighed when I finally reached him.
"Hello Chase," I said changing my voice.
We had an app in the van that could do that and I decided it would be best to change my voice just incase.
He looked up when he heard my new- some what softer- voice.
"Um, Hi?" He said confused.
I sat down beside him on the steps where he was handcuffed.
"Are you the backup?" He asked annoyed.
"Yes, I am." I chuckled.
He scoffed and tried to stand up but I grabbed him and pulled him back with so much force he stumbled and fell over.
"Hey!" He yelled from the spot where he was now lying.
I helped him sit up since he was handcuffed and stood up.
"We weren't done talking." I said sternly.
"Chase, He won't know just tell us what happened that nig-"
"Yes he will! He always does." He cut me off yelling.
"No he won't." I said.
"He will and he'll hurt my mom when he does. She's all I have," He said quietly with his voice cracking at the end.
He isn't going through the exact same pain I was but it still hurts.
"Chase, We'll protect her." I crouched down and put my hand on his arm.
I looked at his arm and noticed the tattoo was still not there. I had to know how he did that.
"Promise?" He asked.
I looked at the broken 17 year old boy in front of me. He looked so sad and lonely, A feeling I, myself was familiar with. But Could I actually promise him that? Promise him something that I might not even be able to do?
"I promise."
He smiled at me and nodded.
"Okay. I actually was walking back from a party, The first party I've ever been to, I hadn't told any of my friends that I didn't really like the party and left. There was too much alcohol and drugs for my liking, Anyways as I was walking a car stopped beside me and asked if I wanted a ride and I accepted," He said.
"Didn't your momma tell you, You should never talk to strangers." I smirked.
"I know, I learned that the hard way." He chuckled.
"I was so tired and in pain from the party and all the walking I had already done so I went along with him. He was driving when a truck came in front of us and he kept driving. I was yelling at him to turn but he had some evil look on his face and went faster. We ended up hitting the truck and I was terrified, I thought I had died. So then the man took me out of the car and pulled me into the truck."
"I was so dizzy and confused, He brought me to this dark warehouse and then left me there for a while. He came back around an hour later and brought me over to his car again. I overheard something about drugs and stuff but I don't remember. He saw that I was listening and said that if I said a word he would have my head and my mom." He sighed.
"Wow," I murmured.
"After that, I don't know what happened. I found myself waking up on my bed." He said.
I furred my eyebrows at this part of his story, It didn't make sense.
"Wait, So you just woke up on your bed?" I asked.
He nodded at me.
"Was your mom home?" I asked him.
"Yeah, Why?" He asked.
"Did she see who the man that brought you home was?" I asked.
"She told me it was a black man but that's it." He said.
That's interesting.
"What about the man that was driving the car? Did you see his face?" I asked.
"Yeah he was Hispanic and had rings on but I could swear that I've met him before, I just can't remember where." He said furring his eyebrows.
Quito Spenser.
Wow, He's actually involved in this?
"Did he have a scar on his cheek?" I asked to make sure it was him. For all I knew there could be a countless amount of Hispanic ring wearers.
"Yeah, How'd you know?" He furred his eyebrows.
"And a messed up left eye?"" I continued.
"Yes. How do you know all that?" He asked.
"Forget it. But, Do you know what he was? Like if he was the leader or something like that?" I asked.
"No, He seemed to be working for someone. He had orders to take me home and stuff," Chase shrugged.
I sighed and stood up.
"Thanks Chase, Your really helping everyone here." I smiled and started to walk off.
He was so clueless.
"Wait!" He said and grabbed my wrist.
"You made a promise," He reminded me.
"I know." I smiled and walked away.
But I don't think your mom is the one that needs the protecting. I thought as I saw something moving from the corner of my eye.
