"Shawdy get down good lord, Baby got em' moping all over town, Strictly biz she don't play around cover much ground got game by the pound.." -Pitch Perfect cover, 'No Diggity.'

Tori's POV:

I sighed as I closed my locker and headed off to my 4th period class.

Chemistry.

I guess you could say that I wasn't one to like chemistry, I hated it. It wasn't the best subject for me like how math was but I really didn't have a choice.

As I was walking in the classroom doorway, someone bumped into me.

"Hey, What the hell?" I said as my books spilled across the floor.

I looked up to see who had done it and it was 'The Wall'. I rolled my eyes at him and bent down to get my books.

"Nice ass," He commented.

I glared at him as I gathered my books and stood up. Of course he won't help me, He's no gentleman.

I tried walking through the door at the same time he did.

"Let me go through," I grunted out.

He continued to push through and shake his head at me.

"I was here first!" He said.

We both fighting for our way through as we heard footsteps in front of us. I looked up to see Mr.Warburg-Our chemistry teacher- Right in front of us.

"Ms. Jackson, Mr. Evans What is going on?" He asked.

"He won't let me go through." I said the same time he said "She won't let me go through."

"You know what? I have a great way to deal with your 'Mature' conversation. Detention." He said walking away.

I groaned as he said that and The wall took that as an opportunity to walk through.

"See you in detention, Baby." He smirked and walked to his seat.

-------

"Detention?" Javier asked.

"Yeah, I can't come in today." I sighed.

"This is the second detention you've had and it's only the first week of school." Javier said sounding like a dad.

"I know, I'm sorry. I'll explain later but right now I need to get there before I'm late." I said.

"Okay," He huffed and hung up the phone.

I put my Phone back into my shorts pocket and started to make my way to detention. Today my outfit made me feel a little like myself, I was wearing denim ripoff shorts and a black tank top with my regular converse. I didn't really feel like I was supposed to be walking into detention but more like work. I didn't have any weapons with me except my usual knife in my bra.

I sighed as I stepped into the classroom, The school was practically empty except for detention students and occasional teachers. I walked up to the sign up sheet on the front desk where the teacher was sleeping. There was only one other name on the sheet besides mine and it made me freeze mid writing when I saw it.

Jake Evans.

I recognized his name the minute I read it. It was the one of our leads, The really smart one with black hair and hazel eyes. I continued writing my name and went to find a seat in the back. There was only one other person in the room and that obviously meant that he was Jake Evans.

"Hey Sweetheart,"

I groaned and sat at the back of the classroom. Out of all people in this school the wall had to be Jake Evans? The freakin leader of the supposed 'gang'. I looked at Jake to see him staring at me smiling.
