Y/n's pov

Hot HR introduced all others in the department. His smile was so bright like a sunshine. Ohh god how can someone be so exquisite. "Your work files will be sent to your cabin, so please wait!" He said bringing me back to earth. I nod with a smile. He directed to my cabin which was opposite to his. I can see him from my cabin working sincerely. He rolled up his shirt sleeves exposing his hand which has veins popped up as he gripped on his table tightly. 

I looked away when he caught me staring at him. I can see him smiling in the corner of my eyes. Helping this awkward situation someone knocked the door. "Yes, come in!" I said. A girl came in with her bright smile. "Hello mam! I'm Dan-bi, Choi Dan-bi. Nice to meet you" she said. I smiled back and said "Hi Dan-bi! I'm Y/n, Han  Y/n. Nice to meet you too!" "Here! Your works!" "Oh! Thank you!" I replied. 

"If you have any doubts you can ask Mr. Jung." She said pointing Hoseok who in the opposite cabin. "Okay" I said with that she left. I started my work sighing as I saw how much is there. After sometime I heard a knock again. "Yes, Come in!" I said still my eyes at the laptop screen. "How is your work going Miss Y/n?" I shoot up my head as I heard a familiar voice and the voice which I don't want to hear.

He came in shutting the door back and sat on the chair in another side of my table. "Nice to meet you again my Ex" Rolling my eyes I said "Steve, Why are you here?" "I'm the General Manager here" he replied. "What th-" I stopped realising that I'm in office. I don't want to create a wrong image on the first day itself. "I wouldn't have come here, if I knew you were here" I said in a low stern voice slamming the table. "You know what?-" He stopped talking when the door opened after a knock. 

Hoseok's pov 

I saw Steve, our general manager entering Y/n's cabin. When she saw him her expression in his face changed. And as he started speaking she got angry slamming the table. I guess they know each other before itself and they are not in a good terms. Of course, how can a girl be in a good terms with him. For the past 2 months he is working here. he dated 3 girls working here within that period. 

My thoughts went to how can I make him leave from that place. Something striked. I took a file that has to be completed today and went to her cabin. Knocking the door I opened the door abruptly. "Can't you wait for the permission?" He yelled. Yes, I know, he will. "Sorry for the disturbance sir. I want Y/n now. I mean, I want her to complete this file within today and submit it. So only I hurried." "Now can you leave sir?" I said with a pause. 

Y/n's pov

When he said 'I want Y/n now' thousands of butterflies started dancing in my stomach. I fiddled with my hem of the shirt. He straight away asked Steve to leave. He got some guts bruh. Steve glared at him and me before going out of my cabin. I sighed. "What it is Mr. Jung? When should I submit it?" I stuck out my hands to get that file and asked him. He chuckled and said "It's nothing. I just used this as a excuses to make him leave." He said. 

Did he just said that? Why did he do that? "But why?" I asked him being confused. "Because I know who he is and I saw you slamming the table while you were talking to him." "Oh! Thank you Mr. Jung." I said slightly bowing. "No need of thanks. Buy me a meal for lunch today. That's enough." He said giggling. Aww! How cute! "Sure!" I said smiling. "Okay then, can we go?" "Where?" I asked. 

He pointed the clock showing 1:30 pm. "Time flies fast" "Time flies in a normal speed. You were that focused in your work to know what is the time is." I chuckled at his sentence and replied. "Okay okay! enough of trolling! Can we go now?" to which he nod his head and we moved. We went to a restaurant. He spoke while eating "There is an important work for you. CEO is planning to make you sponsee's manager." (Sponsee -  A person who gets sponsered by another.)

"What?" I scrunched my nose. "It's actually a part of work only. I too did it at the start. You will be the connecting point of that sponsee and the company." "Ohh! okay, I'll do my best" I said showing a thubms up. "You should! Because Steve told that you can't do it, you are so clumsy and all" "Did he really told that? That bitch-" I unconsciously cursed. Wow good job y/n! What a good word to speak infront of him! 

I mentally slapped myself. He laughed out loud and said "I guess he would have got a nice slap from you, if I didn't interrupt earlier." "Maybe" I said smiling back. He shared many things about him and learned things about me too. He is so cheerful. After we eating he paid for the food instead of me. "You asked me to buy the food. Now why you are paying? I will pay." I said. "It's ok! I was just kidding."

Jk's pov

"Practice well kookie! It's your dream to achieve" Taehyung was saying this for the nth time from the morning. "Ok Taehyungiee! I'll win in this competition" With that I jumped into the pool on three. The only things I can hear is whooshing sound of water as I push past the water with my hands and Taehyungie's cheers. He is the one who always do things like this to me. It helps me to reach the destination fast. 

As I came out I removed the goggles and looked at him to know the timing. "53.5 sec! You did it Kookie!! Last time it was 54.5!" I'm practising really hard for this 100 meter competition. It's my life, dream. "Okay! Let's go before that monster reach home." He chuckled at my sentence. Yes, I referred my dad. He will literally tear me into pieces if I get out on that day. But I'll somehow trick him and escape.
