Chapter 20: Im Done

Its been 2 month since I last saw him and I miss him so badly . I've also ask him when he's free so we can hangout and if we get to spend a few hours together . At Least I get to see him and hugged him .Since he's not around I've been hanging out with Taeyoung because of school . Dont get me wrong I like Taeyoung as a friend not more than that . This week our school will be having midterm exam and its important for all the students espeacially the seniors because this result will determine if they improved their results . Since its an exam week , me ,Yujin and Taeyoung will always study at the library .

Finally we're almost done with our last paper and to be honest this paper I struggled the most . After the teacher took the paper .I ran to the toilet  and cried . Im scared if my results dropped and I wont get a scholarship to Havard  or Berkely . Then I got a knocked from the door and I predicted its Yujin ."Wonyoung ,dont cry . I know you did you best and I know you wont drop your grades . If you dropped your grades it's okay you still have finals and suneung " she said. I opened the door and hugged Yujin . She tapped my back and wiped my tears . Lets go to the cafeteria Jungwon and Taeyoung is waiting for us . We walk to the cafeteria and I saw Jungwon holding his phone video calling Jay ,Jake and Heeseung oppa. I hoped Sunghoon is in the video call but sadly he not in there . Heeseung oppa told me that Heeseung is really busy with his practice and photoshoot and he barely reply their message . Then I notice Jake is in the video call ."Hello Jake , long time no see. How's Australia ?" I asked. " Good and currently Im on my semester break and Im at my grandparent's house " he said .." Cool " I said and looked Yujin's face . She still looks uncomfortable. Then we talk untill the school bell rings so we go back to our classes.

After school

I text Sunghoon ask him what he is doing and told him that I miss him .  While waiting for his reply .I do some exercises. After an hours still no reply from him . I gave up waiting for his reply so I go and shower. After showering . Haeyoung unnie opened the door . " Wonyoung , tomorrow Im going to the ice skating rink to see visit my coach and do you want to come ? " she asked me ." Sure , what time ? " I asked ."Maybe around 10 am and Taejin will pick us up " she answered ." Sure " I said. Yes uts my chance to meet him and I checked at my wardrobe looking for an outfit to wear tomorrow . Then a choose the  pink sweater and tshirt . Cause its cute and simple .

The next day

Taejin oppa picked us up and I camt wait to see him .Its freaking 2 month not seeing him and cant wait to tell him everything . Finally we've arrived at the ice rink . Haeyoung unnie told the guard that she is visiting the rink and he let us in . We walk to the ice rink and we meet Haeyoung unnie ex coach. They chit chat and all. I walk to the seat place and watched Sunghoon practicing with Jiyeon . Since they won the medal , Sunghoon and Jiyeon will be permenent  to compete for the future competitions. After the finished their practice . I walk to Sunghoon and Jiyeon . " Hello Hoonie and Jiyeon " I greeted them ." Ouh hello Wonyoung " Jiyeon said ." Hi youngie and what are you doing here ?" he asked . " I accompany Haeyoung unnie here since she want to visit her ex coach " I answered . " I'll leave both of you alone and bye Hoonie " she said. Wait Hoonie ? I thought Im the only one that allowed to call him Hoonie . Ugh  nevermind at least I get to meet him . " Why you're not texting me and all " I asked . " I've been busy with my photoshoot's and training and how's school and midterms ?" he asked ." I've struggled a bit but overall  meh " I answered. Then I told him about my cheerleading competition in Singapore and we won gold . " Youngie , I need to go now . See you later " he said . " Okay see ya " I said and waved at him . I walked to Haeyoung unnie and we walk to Taejin oppa's car . We had our lunch and walk home .

The next day ...

I was having the best dream then Yujin and Haeyoung opened my door . " Youngie , wake up ! " I said. I opened my eyes and looked at their wooried face ." Erm is there something wrong ?" I asked . Yujin showed her phone and I looked in disbelieved .

" Chairman of Bae Group daughter's, Bae Jiyeon  announced   engaged with Winter Olympics Bronze medalist Park Sunghoon "

I looked at the article and cried . I cant believe that he will be engaged with Jiyeon without telling me earlier . Haeyoung unnie and Yujin comforted me . Then I called him and asked him to meet me at the garden .

2 hours after ...

Finally he came towards me . "Finally you're here . " Park Sunghoon , let's break up " I said while holding back my tears . " Okay " he answered. I cant believe  he agreed with it that easily . " Okay , for now on we're not together and congratulations for your engagement . Dont forget to invite me to your wedding " I faked smile. " Bye then " I said and leave him alone .  I walk out and the rain starts . I cried and ignore that Im soaking wet . Park Sunghoon , I will never ever give you a second chance . You ruined me .

Sunghoon POV

1 month before the engagement

I came back home and saw my parents waiting for me . " Sunghoon , go and get dressed Uncle Bae will visit us " appa said " Okay appa " I answered . I walk to my room and get ready for the dinner . After an hour waiting for Uncle Bae and Aunt Bae came , finally they're here eomma ,eomma  appa ,Sungyeon hyung ,Irene noona ( sister in law ) , Mina , Hyoseop hyung ( brother in law ) and Zoa greeted them . Our family quite closed with the Bae's because our parents are childhood friends . I saw Jiyeon ,Eunbi noona, Hoon hyung ( Eunbi noona husband )  , Suji noona and Joohyuk hyung ( Suji noona husband ) . Then we walk to the dining hall and had our dinner . While the parents talking about their memories before they are getting married . " I have an announcement  to make my son Park Sunghoon and Bae Jiyeon will be engaged next month  " he announced . Everyone cheered and I glared at appa  .

After the dinner , I confronted appa . " Appa ,you know I have a girlfriend and why you set an arranged marriage for me the same like you did to Sungyeon hyung " I shouted  . " Park Sunghoon dont be rude to your father " eomma Jiah said. I stomped to my room and got a text from my girlfriend Youngie . I ignored her text and think what should I do. After the announcement , I avoided her text and  my friends text .I've also busy preparing for my engagement ceremony .

The next week ,

We were practicing and finally our break so I walk out of the ice rink and then Youngie approached us . She greeted us and Jiyeon gave us some privacy . Then she talked about her cheerleading competition and more . I've been thinking what would she'll react with my engagement annoucement . Then I told her my break is over and she left .

After the practice , I get ready with my tuxedo  and walk to the venue . The ceremony were private and there's some reporters also . Its time for me to put the ring to Jiyeon . After that people clapped .

The next day ...

I got a text from Heeseung hyung and he asked for an explanation . The I got a text from Youngie and she wants to met me at the garden . I expected this would happened and Im ready to face it .

I walked to her . "Finally you're here . " Park Sunghoon , let's break up " she  said  " Okay " I answered.  " Okay , for now on we're not together and congratulations for your engagement . Dont forget to invite me to your wedding " she faked smile. " Bye then " she said and leave me alone .
