Chapter 23: Sunghoon's POV

Sunghoon's POV

2 days before the wedding ...

I walk to Jiyeon's house because eomma force me to go out with her .Then I walk to her room and wait for her to be back from her saloon . I looked at her and I saw something . Its a pregnancy test. I pick it up and its positive pregnant . I waited for her and need her explain this . A few minutes after that, she enter her room happily .

" Hoonie , hello you're early ?" she said and kissed my chicks . I glared at her . " Jiyeon , is this your ? " I said sternly while holding the pregnancy test . She kept quiet for a while and then she cried . " So it is true then ?" I said. She nodded . I walk away and she grab my hand . " Please dont cancel the wedding . My parents didn't know about this pregnancy. If they find out about this I will get into trouble . Please Sunghoon " she begged me . I looked at her and sigh . " Please be honest who's the father of this baby ? " he asked . " Its ......Kang Minhyuk " she answered . " What ? Kang Minhyuk our senior ? " I said . She nodded. " Please dont cancel this wedding and I promised when this baby is born we will get a divorce. Dont worry it wont affect you and your family   " she said. I think and I agreed . " Thank you " she said and hugged me .

The wedding day ..

[ Skip the wedding ceremony part ]

Yup we're officially husband and wife . And I hope she'll keep her promise . We changed into our after party outfits and join the guest there . Me and Jiyeon walk to the dining table and we had our meal. Then the mc started to talk and called Wonyoung to perform . I looked at her  while she was singing the song that she pick . It reminds me of one day .

Flashback 1 year ago....

" Youngie , on our  wedding day what song would you like to hear ? " I asked. "Erm I yesterday I binge watched Twilight movie series and I would love to have this song on our wedding day " she said and open the song .

The end of the flashback...

Looking at her eyes shows how much she's been thru after the break up . I've no choice to obey my parents decision and Jiyeon's agreement . Wonyoung , I promise ,I will  find you and fix this mess .  Wonyoung , please wait for me .

After the wedding ceremony , we went on "honeymoon " and our parents keeps on telling us they want grandchildren .Its kinda of  weird and uncomfortable taking about this thing .Me and Jiyeon planned to tell our parents about her pregnancy a week after the honeymoon trip so they wont feel suspicious .

A week after the " honeymoon" trip,

Jiyeon pretend she's about to vomit in front of our parents so they will ask us to check on the doctor . After the doctor's appointment . We drive back to my parents house and both parents had been waiting for the result . " So how's the appointment ?" my mother in law asked. " Eomma , Im 1 month pregnant " she said. " Yes will get a new grandchild " both our parents said. " Wait , both of you just a week married ? How come Jiyeon unnie 1 month's pregnant ? " Zoa asked . "Me and Jiyeon looked at each other scared if we get caught .  Wait did you do it before the wedding?  " Eunbi noona asked ." Eunbi , dont so busy body , we dont care at least we get a grandchild and they're married .O we're fine " father in law said. Luckily we dont get caught . Then both our parents  talk about pregnant thing what Jiyeon could and couldn't do .

" Jiyeon , since you're pregnant , How's your figure skating career ? " eomma asked her . " I will retire figure skating and  continue my studies . I've want to enroll in Seoulin University and I will be taking Sports Science since I would love to be a coach in the future . " I will retire to and I will enroll myself to Yeori University and I will be taking Business . I will also continue my modeling career " I said.They nodded which means they agreed with our decision.

For the past 8 months I've been busy with my studies and modeling career .And  finally tomorrow its Jiyeon's due date and I've prepared the divorce paper for to sign next week . Right now ,I'm in the hall focusing on what the professor talking . Then I got a call from Jiyeon so I picked it up ."Hello Jiyeon ,Im at class right now " I said . " Hello ,are Mr Park Sunghoon ? " someone said. " Yes I am Park Sunghoon and how do get her phone ? Where is Jiyeon ? " I asked . " Mr Park , your wife is at the hospital and she's involved with a car accident . What ? . I quickly contact my parents and my in laws about this news . I quickly drive to the hospital . I walk to the counter and asked for Jiyeon's room and the nurse told me that Jiyeon is at the operating room . Then my parents and my in laws came. We've waited for 3 hours and we heard a baby crying . A few minutes after that the nurse and the doctor walk out . " Can I speak to the husband privately " the doctor said. " Yes doctor , Im her husband " I said. He brought me to his office and he asked me to sit . " Mr Park , I have a bad news and a good news. The good news in that they baby  is healthy and the bad news is your wife will have a few hours to live because she loose a lot of blood and we couldn't save her  " he said.I looked at him with disbelief and walk toward my parents and in laws about what the doctor told me .My mother in law cried and couldn't accept the fact they will be loosing her daughter . We asked the nurse if we could visit Jiyeon and the baby . She allowed us to visit her .I looked at Jiyeon sleeping . I hold the baby . " Hello little one your mother is sleeping " I said to baby . Then Jiyeon woke up . She looks so pale and exhausted.  " Hoonie , can I hold my baby please " she said. I gave it to her . " Hi baby , eomma is here ,dont cry " she to the baby . She looked at me  and smiled . My mother in law and eomma  took  turns to hold  the baby . "Can I talk to Sunghoon privately " Jiyeon said.

They leave the room and asked the nurse to bring out the baby . " Hoonie , I know I have limited time to live . Thank you for being the best husband even tho we're not as the normal married couple but Im grateful that you've agreed to be my husband for awhile . I know this baby is not yours but please treat her as your own . Im sorry if Im the reason  your relationship with Wonyoung  ruined . I know you'll only love Wonyoung but not me .She hold my hand for awhile . A few minutes after that, her hand is not moving and its official she's finally get to rest in peace. I call the doctor and nurse telling them she's not moving . They checked her heart rate and all. My called my parents and in laws to come in site . " Sorry Mr Park , your wife officially died " the doctor said. Everyone in the room cried including my mother in law , Jiyeon's sisters and my mother. The cover her with a white cloth .

The next day...

We had a funeral ceremony ceremony . And all my friends and people who knows Jiyeon decided to visit the her funeral . After that funeral ceremony , I went back home and found a bag filled with letters and a diary . I opened the letter and read

To : Sunghoon

When you read this letter I am not hare in this world . Im grateful  having a considerate and understanding husband . Even tho our marriage is not like what I dream of but Im grateful to have you .I know Wonyoung is the only one you love and go get her . I hope you treat my daughter like your own . Make sure to give her my diary when she turned 16 . Do tell share good thing about to her . That's all for now . One more thing please name her Yeona and I want her to have your surname .  Bye Hoonie .

From Bae Jiyeon

I feel a bit sad and I looked at the diary that I will be giving to her baby .I looked at the baby . " Hey little one your name is Park Yeona . Daddy will take care of you okey " I said . After that I gave the other letters to my in laws and her siblings. I told my in laws and parents that this baby isn't my baby . At first they couldn't    accept but after awhile they started to accept it .

" Jiyeon , I promised I will take care of Yeona and win  Wonyoung's heart  "
